YOOO!!! That short clip of Shoto looked really good! I can't remember anything like it in the manga... and he was in his school uniform so that couldn't have been the training session where they were trying to create new special moves. I wonder where it's supposed to be from.
Made a quick GIF of it but it's kinda too slow...
I have another one that's 0.01 seconds faster per frame but then it ends up looking way too fast. Hmm.
EDIT: OH WAIT. Silly me. The special moves scenes were already done last season. So these must be completely new scenes then. I thought of the special moves creation class because I saw Bakugo do an AP shot in the PV, I think.
If I had to guess I'd say they're of Bakugo and Shoto training to catch up, i.e. part of their little arc for later this season so I don't think it's necessarily unnecessary. If anything, I found it a tiny bit disappointing that we only saw one of their remedial classes, so if we got to see a bit more of it, I'd be very happy about it.I think they're new scenes because those Bakugo scenes are certainly not in the manga, little bit unnecessary but oh well.
hes the golden light up baby and can live hundreds of years?
Yup, this is how I understand it. Will hopefully be cleared up in a few hours.I I'm getting it right 'The Mother of Quirks' is the person who popularized the term 'quirks' in relation to superpowers and Destro was her child, but powers had been around for a while beforehand

It seems that Re-Destro's size changing is a lot faster than what we've seen before - he's using it to basically throw fast, hard punches - but I wonder if he'll be as quick at full size.
To anyone here who for whatever reason plays Jump Force still Bakugo was added to the game. He looks about as good as you'd expect.
Also in other news apparently it was Hagakure's birthday today, not that it really matters.

Every single character looks bad to me in this art style, those three are probably the least offensive looking. Still can't get over just how ugly this game is, probably the worst looking anime game I've seen in a long while.I feel the bigger the eyes, the creepier the character looks in that art style. For example, All Might, Kenshiro, and City Hunter all look great while Deku and Gon look like aliens.

I thought Kacchan would get me to jump back in, ironically he's pushing me further away now
I'm not completely caught up in the manga yet butbut Shigaraki is such a terrible villain. I thought that by now he would have been disposed of to make room for something more interesting but nope he's still here except now with a backstory. The villains are still trying to win the giant guy over
It's a shame because I love the art, the world and a lot of the characters but everytime he shows up I just feel like putting the manga down. He is so fucking boring.
I honestly feel like he hasn't been in the series enough lmao.I'm not caught up yet (maybe 10 or 15 chapters behind?) but he's been an ever-present figure in the series for far too long, that's kind of my point.
Well, he is the primary antagonist of the series so... shouldn't be a surprise. He hasn't had that much screen time, though.but he's been an ever-present figure in the series for far too long, that's kind of my point.
Honestly he hasn't appeared enough in the story considering it's also his story and he needed the development the arc trying to give himI'm not caught up yet (maybe 10 or 15 chapters behind?) but he's been an ever-present figure in the series for far too long, that's kind of my point.

2.) He barely has any interactions with Deku or any other good guy, this is a huge problem because I'm supposed to really want to see Deku fight with Shigaraki like Batman and Joker or Spiderman and Doc Ock but the story so far puts more effort with Deku's school rivalries then his villain ones
Shigaraki is just a irrational murderer and I don't see any thing wrong with that, some of the best Villains in anime are irrational serial killers
I have to disagree with this one, we had the mall chapter that was a huge part of why he stopped being a scrub. There's also the first arc and Kamino2.) plenty of endgame villains are irrational serial killers but the common denominator between them is that they are fearsome characters that make you worry about the lives of the main characters, Shigaraki doesn't do that, if he were to kill people close to Deku and have the power to become a character that needs to be stopped at all costs because he's killing millions, then he would be a villain to fear for when he's on screen, AFO is probably more one dimensional than Shigaraki but he's a better villain because shit goes down when he's on screenHow many of them were endgame villains though, which Shiggy presumably will be? On top of that, Shiggy is a big bad that's being built up from his initial status as a scrub. So to go through all of that development, just to have the final result be a villain that just wants to destroy everything, is not what I'd consider compelling.
They need more than that, there's no real personal grudge between them yet, it'll most likely be built later but right now they are not nemesisI have to disagree with this one, we had the mall chapter that was a huge part of why he stopped being a scrub. There's also the first arc and Kamino
It might be less than hero comics but it is more than other battle shonens that usually only make the main antagonist face the hero at the end
