Sunday stream schedule for those of you who can attend...
1. MLP FiM 213 - Baby Cakes
2. MLP FiM 519 - The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows
3. MLP FiM 412 - Pinkie Pride
4. MLP FiM 914 - That's a Laugh
5. Fruits Basket 2019 18 - What's Important, Is...
Stream followup, I was only around for the first 20 minutes or so. They watched the following episodes.
1. MLP FiM 213 - Baby Cakes
2. MLP FiM 519 - The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows
3. MLP FiM 412 - Pinkie Pride
4. MLP FiM 914 - That's a Laugh
No Fruits Basket, but everything else went well apparently.

OK, only watching part of PONIES The Anthology 7 today.
I liked the Gamecube falling on Applejack.
Huh, is this the first time the segment creators were credited at the start?
Wasn't feeling that Shrek bit at first, but him hitting Pinkie with the bathroom door got me.
Glad someone made a joke about Applejack throwing that granny from that EQG short.
I love that Pinkie Mario 64 bit, especially with that stairs glitch.
That Bojack Horseman Big Mac section is well done.
In general, I'm surprised by the number of Equestria Girls clips.
This Steins;Gate ponified intro is nice.
Rainbow ZA WARUDOing is good
Hey, Pop Team Epic
Seeing more of Button's Mom was surprisingly nice (even for a joke segment). Oh, and Button was there too.
Stopping at 50 minutes... and ending on a "peeved" joke, nice.
This was a nice story, and I liked Rarity helping Twilight through her mental block. Though I think you'll upset people by having Rarilight in the title but not actually going through with it :P . BTW, there are a bunch of formatting issues you should probably address.
This story started off cute. In theory, I don't have a problem with the story ending with unrequited love, but I think Rarity continuing to flirt with Twilight despite knowing she isn't interested and won't be interested, with her getting visibly uncomfortable, makes her look pretty bad. Other than that aspect, I enjoyed it.
So yeah, all of the RariTwi fics actually involve unrequited love, specifically with Twilight being straight. This applies to the other longer one, that I haven't fully read, too.
Continuing PONIES The Anthology 7 from 50 minutes
That Tempest clip is pretty great
You know, you can really tell that all the videos that involve live clips of bronies are made by straight white men that feel a bit self congratulatory about the creepy parts.
Ending credits are pretty plain, being just still images over an anime song.
You know, if G5 ever gets a big fandom, I hope it isn't just a bunch of white men making these videos again.
Not the best one, but there wasn't a long obnoxious segment this time.
It still feels a bit weird to me that they made an Anthology 7. The end of 6 felt like it was meant to be the end, and I think it was more effective than 7's ending. I remember watching 6 for the first time, and thinking "yeah, that's a good way to end. This feels like a satisfying cap on these videos"
It probably doesn't help that I felt 7 was one of the weaker ones they've done. There were a few good ones, but overall quality felt down, and there weren't any particular skits that cracked me up a ton.
Not to mention the ProJared and Jontron stuff feels really awkward.

Not to mention the ProJared and Jontron stuff feels really awkward.
Yeah, I wasn't sure if I just didn't remember it from previous parts, but this one in particular felt way more "bro"-y in a way I wasn't that comfortable with, and their inclusion was part of it.
A bunch of PMVs have come out due to Bronycon. I'll post them as I watch them. These are all pretty nice. First focuses on season 6, and the second is a more artistic one, while the last two are both "series ending" PMVs.

I think bro-y is a good way to describe this one.
I know Jontron was in the previous ones fairly often, but they came out before everything happened with him, so I could overlook it. Using him now seems tone deaf at best. And I know the ProJared stuff was probably finished before he showed himself to be a crap basket, but I still would have cut it if it was me.
I wonder if this one was made by a significantly different group than the old ones. I guess it would be straightforward to check the credits, but that's more effort than I care to put into it.
Damn, that was some intense awkwardness.
And I foresee more awkwardness in the future. It's hard to see how their relationship will recover from all this.
Stream schedule, with each number corresponding to a half hourish block. We're starting a ton of new shows, including
1. Amphibia - 1 – Anne or Beast? / Best Fronds
2. Infinity Train - 1-2 - The Grid Car / The Beach Car
3. Madoka Magica - 1
4. Madoka Magica - 2
Amphibia is one I don't intend to show every episode of, so I'll jump around a lot (appropriately), and probably just show six episodes in total while we're watching Madoka, depending on how its received.
Infinity Train is a 10 episode miniseries, with six episodes aired as of today, and it's quite good so far. I intend to show all of it over five weeks.
And lastly, Madoka Magica is a show I've been interested in streaming for a while. I haven't watched it since the first subs came out, which was... 8 years ago, which isn't as bad as I thought it would be, honestly. This will also be my first time watching the English dub.
EDIT: Changed my mind, we're going 3-2-2-2-3 with Madoka
1. Infinity Train - 1-2 - The Grid Car / The Beach Car
2. Madoka Magica - 1
3. Madoka Magica - 2
4. Madoka Magica - 3
Which probably means we won't be watching Amphibia during these weeks after all.
I think this is the show-only weekday stream I've enjoyed most. Infinity Train is good, and revisiting Madoka for the first time since the first fansubs came out, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it still was. The art, the music, the story, the characters, the music, the music. I even liked the dub, which I was led to believe was weaker than it was. Plus we had a couple people in the stream who hadn't seen the show before and were making guesses about how it was going to progress, which is fun. I really forgot how much I liked Madoka Magica.
Also included the absolutely necessary Morning Rescue commercials. The story of Morning Rescue is that the fan subs left that commercial in for episode 2, and the response was positive enough to be included in most every episode after. Even if that commercial didn't actually air for that episode in Japan.
Funnily enough, the two shows had a repeated theme that you shouldn't trust cats.
~~~
There's a ton of videos to post. Not going to bother embedding any of them.
A new "Different View of..." video that follows a caterpillar during a fight between ponies. It was hard to tell what was happening until I read the description, especially since the thumbnail showcased Trixie.
Not going to stream Fruits Basket 19, since it's PEOPLE SCREAMING the Episode and I'd rather not go through that again. This episode introduces Ritsu, the monkey spirit, who is constantly screaming apologies. And also features Shigure's constantly screaming editor, Mitsuru.
~~~
I think this is actually the only proper MLP in The Sims video I've watched. It's a bit dragged out, and sometimes hard to tell what's going on, but it's well animated and has a lot of fun moments.
Three episodes of Rainbow being a jerk. "Rainbow Falls" still isn't good outside of the cheerleaders and Derpy returning (which I had forgotten about). "Buckball Season" was cute for Fluttershy and Pinkie, but then Rainbow and Applejack brought the mood down for a bit. My opinion on "2, 4, 6, Greaaat" are the same.
Fruits Basket 18 was well received, and when it got to the audio preview of 19 at the end, people understood why I was skipping it.
Kaleido Star 38 and 39 featured an acrobatics competition, and then Sora realizing this is dumb and dropping out, which I was happy about. Hopefully now that Sora doesn't think she has to do all this, we start to get a lighter tone again and we don't have to deal with Leon's shit as much.
~~~
Nice remix, and impressive that this is still getting remixes
Stream announcement, we're watching the following
1. Twelve Forever - 1 - Birthday Forever
2. Infinity Train - 3-4 - The Corgi Car / The Crystal Car
3. Madoka Magica - 4
4. Madoka Magica - 5
Twelve Forever being a suggestion given to fill up the open half hour from watching two episodes of Infinity Train and Madoka.
You know, I only really have a clear idea of three things happening between episode 3 of Madoka and the last episode. One character being introduced, one character having a thing happen, and backstory for another character, being vague. So it'll be interesting seeing all this again.
Stream followup. We watched the following.
1. Twelve Forever - 1 - Birthday Forever
2. Infinity Train - 3-4 - The Corgi Car / The Crystal Car
3. Madoka Magica - 4
4. Madoka Magica - 5
The first episode of Twelve Forever wasn't well received. It definitely felt like Adventure Time but without understanding of what made that show work.
Infinity Train was much better received, in contrast. Between the original airing last week, me watching it with other people earlier this week, and the stream, this is my third time watching these episodes, and they're still good.
Madoka Magica featured the introduction of Kyoko, Sayaka becoming a magical girl, and the fallout of episode 3. Not quite as exciting as the previous ones, but I know good stuff is coming up. I got some questions in the chat that... will get answered later >_>
That was a good story. The descriptions of Death were great and I found (the perspective character)'s interactions with him interesting. I'm not sure it really needed to be a mystery who the perspective character is, but given that, you handled the reveal well.
1. FiM - 220 - It's About Time
2. FiM - 703 - A Flurry of Emotions
3. FiM - 916 - A Trivial Pursuit
4. Fruits Basket - 20
5. Kaleido Star - 40
6. Kaleido Star - 41
This was a good story, and it really kept me guessing as Flurry went to the source of the voice. I even forgot that I knew this had a sequel about a Princess Skyla, haha. Speaking of which, I should read that.
(Not mentioned in the review: the sequel is long and also ongoing, so I'll hold off on it)
~~~
New Pinkie Tales! This time, Applejack is driven mad. A bit padded, but it's fun.
There were a bunch of shorts before Kaleido Star to buy time for someone getting back in time.
Not only does every FiM episode involve both Twilight and Pinkie, but for the most part, so does every EQG short. All three episodes also involve visibly growling stomachs. And the first two episodes both involve gags or aside references that turn out to have major lore implications. "It's About Time" has time travel, Cerberus, and Tartarus. "A Flurry of Emotions" gives Grogar's backstory, which is something that many stream viewers had forgotten about. Anyway, those episodes were still good.
As for "A Trivial Pursuit", I enjoyed it more the second time around.
Fruits Basket introduced Gaslight Lad, aka Hiro the sheep. Not a super interesting episode, but it was nice to see Hiro come around on Tohru as the episode went on. And we get a reminder that Akito is a bit messed up.
Kaleido Star featured Sora getting her groove back and deciding she doesn't want to compete for roles anymore. And this ends up super pissing off May and turning Leon into a crazy person. Layla continues to not be a great mentor and blames Sora for how those two are acting. And apparently Layla is 17, which is super ???. Anyway, we're in the final stretch. I suppose we'll have to figure out a substitute for this at some point.
Read this to read the continuation, and it's very good. I love Rarity getting upset about being tossed in the water during an attack and thinking Twilight could slice the cannonball in half.
Great job with this story, love how you write Rarity and Twilight. And I understood those references. Since I have Fire Emblem on the mind, clearly Twilight needs to knock enemies to 1 HP so Rarity can make the kill and get the experience.
Good RariTwi fluff story that Monochromatic published under an alt for reasons. The comments had a conversation joking guessing whose alt this is, leading to my review.
I'm going to come clean, everyone.
This is my alt.
Go me on the good story. And getting a significant other. I should probably dump them since I'm asexual.
You know, I should actually get to writing a story before the show ends.
Stream announcement, we're watching the following on Thursday
1. Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart - 1 - I Love You Mao Mao (15 minutes)
2. Mao Mao - 7 - Not Impressed (15 minutes)
3. Infinity Train - 5-6 - The Cat's Car / The Unfinished Car
4. Madoka Magica - 6
5. Madoka Magica - 7
I personally found a lot of the early Mao Mao episodes weak, but I started liking the more recent ones more.
looks at end of Madoka Magica episode 7
Wait, that doesn't happen yet? reads Wikipedia summary
Oh riiiiight, I forgot about these earlier twists.
New Unanimous Delivers video!
Well, one made a while ago that he only decided to release publicly due to BronyCon
Good AppleDash PMV
Another "show ending" video.
~~~
Monochromatic won Bronycon's best MLP fanfic contest with The Enchanted Library, and she gave a good interview.
Mao Mao was pretty well received. I'm watching the show, so I skipped ahead to the first episode after the first that I thought was interesting, with the mention of Mao Mao's family and the pretty great ending.
Infinity Train was well received too.
And then Madoka had Sayaka suffering. But Kyubey insists it's fine, so it is. Looking forward to the next set of episodes.
1. FiM - 515 - Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?
2. FiM - 714 - Fame and Misfortune
3. FiM - 917 - The Summer Sun Setback
4. Fruits Basket - 21
5. G1 - 51-54 - The Quest of the Princess Ponies
I honestly can't draw human stuff well, so imagine my surprise while working on this one. (Also I'm sorry if the french is wrong, I just google translated it. Feel free to message me the correct one so I can change it!)
Prompt in which Twilight doesn't know how to compliment Rarity without being a mess even though they've been (secretly) dating for weeks now, so she uses sticky notes to give compliments to her, she puts it in Rarity's locker, her desk, her books etc.
Bonus: Rarity collects them and puts it in a cork board.
Bonus (2): Whenever Twilight comes over she arranges them by color.
Bonus (3): Imagine the angst whenever they have arguments, and Rarity just stares at the cork board and reads every single one of them.
i swear the pony version is way cuter whenever rarity borrows books from twilight she sneaks in sticky notes to the book and rarity gushes BUT I CAN'T SEEM TO DRAW IT I TRIED FOR 3 DAYS
Kaleido Star had Leon injure himself in the first episode, but the second episode was full of excitement with Mr. Policeman needing help with love and Sora rediscovering her love for gymnastics when she's held hostage during a bank robbery. That was the best episode in a while.
The MLP episodes were good. Given what's been done with Luna before and after, "Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?" really stands out. Just the idea that Luna could incidentally create a monster that could destroy Equestria is something we don't see from the princesses elsewhere. At the time, it was a big disappointment that the Mane Six dreams weren't more interesting, but that wasn't really the focus of the episode, so eh.
I had forgotten a fair amount of "Fame and Misfortune", including the odd detail of the Friendship Journal being badly damaged at the start. I place the blame solely on Applejack. I like the episode, especially for the song, and for, well
"The Summer Sun Setback" was still good.
Fruits Basket contained TERROR as the Yuki Fanclub visited Hanajima's house, which was fun.
And then a surprising number of people showed up for the G1 story, which featured freaking JAMES EARL JONES as a lava demon named Lavan. And yes they used the word demon. He also sings in it. And as the story goes on, he exchanges lava for fabulous rainbows. It was a pretty fast paced and eventful story, making it probably the best one we've streamed.
This was really adorable. It was great seeing their relationship develop over time. Though jeez Twi, let a mare do her job. Should have moved in the sewing equipment by day 2.
And the timeline contradicts Last Train Home, so that means this won't lead into Injuring Eternity! So it's just adorable and not also sad.
And a new Crimson Lips chapter,
I expected from the start that Twilight would want to do some research like this eventually, but would end up with Rarity for awkwardness. But now I realize this has the potential to be even more awkward.
Good job acknowledging in the story how the sex trade isn't just, well, Rarity, and introducing this new character. The fact that her name has Shimmer makes it a bit odd she isn't Sunset, but there are only so many pony-like names.
101 Dalmatian Street is one of those series that aired some episodes outside the US, but has been saved for Disney+ in the US. It's... very loud. Not a single moment goes by without something happening. Ironically the most quiet moment is when the dogs are watching fireworks. It's a shame it's so hard to watch, because the art and animation is pretty good.
Both Infinity Train and Madoka featured despair, and they were good. Kyubey getting shot up especially had a big reaction. And yes, I did let Dog Day go ahead knowing what would happen in Infinity Train. It turned out to be a secret cat day after Kyubey was perfectly fine after being shot up.
Stream announcement, we're watching the following.
1. MLP:FiM - 407 - Bats!
2. MLP:FiM - 705 - Fluttershy Leans In
3. MLP:FiM - 918 - She Talks to Angel
4. Fruits Basket - 22
5. Kaleido Star - 44
6. Kaleido Star - 45
Have to watch "Fluttershy Leans In" eventually, so might as well watch it with the episode that follows it up. Fruits Basket 22 features Hana (psychic girl) backstory, though as a heads up, this episode features on-screen depiction of pretty intense bullying. Like girls holding Hana down and then sticking a lit match into her arm.
"Bats!" was fun, aside from the issue of Applejack and Fluttershy's conflict being resolved off screen. Amazing how this episode launched and continues to launch so much fan art.
"Fluttershy Leans In" has a nice ending, but otherwise it's a padded episode that has odd things to say about planning a project and working with contractors.
"She Talks to Angel" was still alright.
Fruits Basket was good, though it was weird how Hana's psychic powers are a more prominent supernatural factor than the actual zodiac. Well, that should be fixed by the end of this season.
Kaleido Star changed the OP to have Leon smile, which means... something I guess. The episodes were fun, but then Sora suddenly decided she wants to do the REAL Angel's Maneuver which I guess she didn't do before. (shrug)
Stream followup, we watched the following
1. Infinity Train - 9-10 - The Past Car / The Engine (END)
2. Madoka Magica - 10
3. Madoka Magica - 11
4. Madoka Magica - 12 (END)
People mentioned Infinity Train could have used more episodes, since they wanted to spend more time with this set of characters. Personally, I think the series was fine for that, but I wouldn't have minded two more one-off episodes. In any case, I think we'll see the non-Tulip in season 2, including Mirror Tulip.
The response to the last Madoka episodes was great, especially Homura's backstory and God Madoka. The entire thing with historical figures being magical girls still loses me, though. People requested the movie (or more accurately Movie 3) for next week.
Much more so than I realized when I made this schedule, the Pony section was all Rarity getting upset that someone is ignoring her, with even the EQG short "FOMO" fitting into this.
I enjoyed all the MLP episodes, but I've always liked "Forever Filly" more than many people here. I had forgotten several details of both older episodes. The framing of setting up a celebration in the first, and all the stuff with the dog in the latter in particular.
Fruits Basket didn't have much happen aside from Kagura returning, but that's to provide the calm before the storm in the upcoming season finale two-parter.
About Kaleido Star, I thought the past episodes were all about Sora deciding all this competition and special move stuff was dumb, but that hobo just had to bring up the Angel's Maneuver... and yeah, apparently the Legendary Maneuver is baby stuff no one cares about. Good dogs though.
~~~
Silver Quill put out a nice video looking back on the end of Digimon 02 and how he and other members of the fandom reacted, and what that means for the FiM fandom. There are zero season 9 spoilers, even of episodes that aired in the US.
Stream followup, we watched Madoka Magica the not recap movie. I enjoyed it, but a couple of people who wanted to watch it missed the stream for various reasons, so I'll restream the movie perhaps next week. Thus, I'll save a more detailed review for then.
Read this fanfic about an OC changeling working undercover as a pony around the time of "A Canterlot Wedding", and it was pretty good, especially for a first time writer. Here are the reviews I posted as it went along.
Great first chapter! And good job with making things seem normal but with lines that mean more than they seem when you know what's going on. Interesting idea with changelings having designated love collectors. It makes a lot of sense with how many there are. I did notice a mistake, which I'll PM you about.
Aww, they make a sweet couple. Well done writing their interactions.
Good chapter. I wonder what role these other changelings will play in the future.
Also somehow missed that this didn't take place in Canterlot until now >_>
Finally finished this. Good job on this story! I usually don't like OC-based stories, but you did well making me care about the characters. I notice a hint of Mistborn with the discussion of how emotion sensing and manipulation is something everyone does in some sense.
Rarity enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. Drinking tea, fighting timberwolves, picnics with Fluttershy, meeting dragons and, most of all, spending time with an ancient alicorn spirit. She wouldn't give it up for anything in the world.

New chapter for this, "Interlude ??? - Apple Crisp's Long Night [Unpublished draft]"
Neat to see a story from that time period. That was pretty intense. I admit I couldn't remember when Apple Crisp was alive until Shining Armor came in.
1. FiM - 307 - Wonderbolt Academy
2. FiM - 709 - Honest Apple
3. FiM - 920 - A Horse Shoe-In
4. Fruits Basket - 24
5. Kaleido Star - 48
6. Kaleido Star - 49
I didn't want to repeat the lineup of the "On the Road to Friendship" stream from last year, so I went with a competition theme.
Since none of the big Kaleido Star people are going to be in the stream, updating the schedule to
1. FiM - 307 - Wonderbolt Academy
2. FiM - 709 - Honest Apple
3. FiM - 920 - A Horse Shoe-In
4. DC Super Hero Girls - 20-21 - DC Super Hero Boys
5. DuckTales 2017 - 219 - A Nightmare on Killmotor Hill!
6. Fruits Basket - 24
Only one other person was in the stream, so I chose not to stream Fruits Basket, along with Kaleido Star.
"Wonderbolt Academy" had some fun aspects, but it's a confused and bloated episode. "Honest Apple" has fun side characters and that Rarity guitar scene, but Applejack ruins this episode so much that it might straight up be my vote for worst episode of the show.
The shorts I ran were also on the weak end, so really, I don't blame people for bailing.
"A Horse Shoe-In" was still good, along with the other two non-MLP shows.
Not quite sure how I'll handle Fruits Basket and Kaleido Star. I'll probably just air one Fruits Basket episode next time; not like there's a real drive to be up to date with it.

Since I keep track of these, MLP thread in EtcetEra
Yup, a ship fic with Harmony Sparkle (the Tree of Harmony's avatar) and Sunset Shimmer.
This was really interesting. You don't often see Harmony Sparkle in a romance, let alone Harmony Sparkle at all. Pairing her up with Sunset seemed arbitrary at first, but the thing about her discovering harmony while in another realm makes a lot of sense. Throughout the story, I was dreading Harmony and Sunset having to separate, which is a good sign the pairing worked out.
I always feel wary of stories where the pony and human worlds form a stronger connection; there's just something that fundamentally feels wrong about the concept. However, that was just a backdrop for the changes Harmony and Sunset's relationship are going through, so that's fine.
As for the ending, I agree with the above comment that Harmony remembering everything as a filly makes things really weird. I think the best way to have your cake and eat it too with the ending would have been for Harmony to split into two beings: her old self, and also a filly. Harmony describes her as in a way being herself, but also with Sunset mixed in. Sunset responds, "So basically... our daughter." That said, I'm not exactly opposed to the current ending.
RariTwi fic where Rarity goes into Twilight's book
That was a cute story. I had a bit of trepidation that this would be unrequited love like your previous RariTwi stories, but things turned out well. You did a good job describing the world inside the book and Twilight reading Rarity.
I will admit, the set up is a bit strange. So Moondancer, Rarity, and Celestia set up this situation where Twilight would get caught up reading a book for hours on end, so Rarity could come in and tell her to go outside when they were the ones who got her to stay inside.
As an ancient alicorn trapped inside a library, Princess Twilight spent many a century dreaming of being rescued from her prison. Now, finding herself in an entirely new Equestria, she realizes she'd never planned for somepony to actually succeed...
www.fimfiction.net
New The Enchanted Kingdom chapter! Two, at that!
It... worked? Given how you've been talking about this part of the story, I bracing myself for something bad to happen the entire chapter. Heck, I wouldn't have put it past Discord to actually show up to chase some foals, rather than it being Rift.
Rarity's celebration seemed like a lot of fun, and it was great checking in on everyone during it.
About the previous chapter, adding more kisses to previous chapters and having implied off screen sex... how scandalous!
These two chapters were really sweet. Looking forward to the likely trauma when Twilight goes into Rarity's nightmares. Then working past the trauma.
Fire Emblem establishes that bows > pegasi, so this checks out.
Good story explaining how wealth stolen long ago can lead to modern day unequal power structures. I'm not sure Twilight would be in such denial about the military might of unicorns being a significant factor in the current class system, but she'd definitely feel bad about it. Plus the story is more a lecture framed by a debate anyway, so good job fitting the characters in those roles.
Very interesting portrayal of Twinkleshine, and a sweet look at her friendship with Minuette... and the universe, of course. Not going to lie, when I read the description, I thought this was going to be about her meeting an actual manifestation of the universe, but this is better.
Interesting story, and I liked how you wrote Celestia and the angels. They were all charming and fun. Though I'm not particularly a fan of TwiLestia, I thought it made sense here, and I liked how you handled Celestia's concerns.
Stream followup, we watched the Madoka movie (that isn't a recap) again, and we had many more people this time around, which was good.
The movie is visually very impressive, including a very stylish transformation sequence and fantastic looking battles. The beginning section of the movie was focused on showing us what this alternate reality is like, and it can be a bit hard to grasp what's going on with a first watch if you don't already know you're supposed to be confused. Plus there's that weird song section. The actual story starts shortly after that, and it's pretty intriguing. I love the concept of Kyubey deciding to put Homura in a sealed space to see what happens when she turns into a witch but the process gets frozen, and to capture Madoka, and this led to great imagery like the sky breaking apart, revealing a bunch of seemingly giant Kyubeys peeking in. The, we get to the actual ending. If there's a followup, then I really am fine with the direction they took the characters. But if there is none, then yeah, this is a pretty bad ending. It's one that can be pretty safely ignored, though.
1. FiM - 310 - Keep Calm and Flutter On
2. FiM - 524 - The Hooffields and McColts
3. FiM - 921 - Daring Doubt
4. Fruits Basket - 24
5. Kaleido Star - 48
6. Kaleido Star - 49
We streamed all the Daring Do episodes, but thankfully, this episode is also focused on Fluttershy.
I'm just streaming one Fruits Basket episode, so both it and Kaleido Star will end next week.
"Keep Calm and Flutter On" is still an odd episode, particularly for Discord's sudden change of heart at the end. It is still entertaining, though. And as we learned by the next season, Discord didn't quite make a 180.
"The Hooffields and McColts" was always underrated. It's still good.
I still like "Daring Doubt", and it was pretty popular in the stream, despite the BOTH SIDES jokes.
Fruits Basket covered what the first anime covered in its last two episodes. It was good.
Kaleido Star featured intense training and people becoming demons or something. Apparently Sora's idea for ending competition is to be better than EVERYONE. Also Layla's back. Episodes were good.

Amazing World of Gumballs Halloween Special from last year (The Ghouls)
OK KO's one that brought back the Ghoul School from Scooby Doo
Maybe one of the Bob's Burger's Halloween specials
Regular Show with one of their Terror Tales from the Park
Stream announcement. Ahead of all the Halloween stuff in October, we'll be watching a live action movie from earlier this year that many on PonyEra liked. I watched it in theaters, but I haven't really thought about it much since then. We'll see if I still like it a lot.
1. Booksmart
The premise is that with high school graduation coming up, two girls who spent all of their time getting good grades and making their college applications as solid as possible realize that their classmates, who they viewed as slackers who party all the time, also got into top colleges. Thus, they realize they wasted their time in high school, and before it's over, they have to go to one big party. Pretty standard coming of age premise, but it's a fun and even sweet movie.
On Thursday, we watched the live action movie Booksmart. All except one person in the stream had seen it before. On first watch, I liked the movie a lot, but I've cooled down on it a fair bit and just found it OK with this viewing, which the person who hadn't seen it before thought too.
1. FiM - 206 - The Cutie Pox
2. FiM - 419 - For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils
3. FiM - 922 - Growing Up is Hard to Do
4. Fruits Basket - 25 (season finale)
5. Kaleido Star - 50
6. Kaleido Star - 51 (series finale)
The MLP episodes were good this time around. I forgot a lot of how the two older episodes went. There are still some weird things about the "The Cutie Pox", though, like how the climax is pretty forced. They go look for Zecora, and Zecora goes to them instead, and then Apple Bloom wastes time before admitting the truth that everyone already knew about.
The old episodes had some unexpected connections to the new one. The characters wanting to grow up is one I knew, but there's also the fillies forgetting to request something until very late, and... something that stuck out to me during the stream but I can't remember now.
With the EQG shorts, you'd think with that title, it would be more appropriate for the final stream, but nah, it doesn't feel like a finale of anything. On the other hand, they are focused on the CMC... who are confirmed to still be called the Cutie Mark Crusaders in Dougworld for some reason. Anyway, bizarrely, two out of the three endings involve straight up stealing the projectors from Cranky. Only Rarity actually gets permission to use it, and everyone's happy at the end.
The Fruits Basket season finale was good, with emotional wrap ups for the two pretty boys for now, and lots of hinting for the future.
Kaleido Star's final episodes featured a match with Layla, and then Sora giving such a good performance that she gets people to willingly perform without pay. Overall, I enjoyed the first half of the series more than the second half, but I still liked the second half well enough.
Stream announcement. For the start of a spooky October (which includes the end of FiM, as a reminder), we're watching two live action series.
1. X-Files - 320 - Jose Chung's From Space
2. Supernatural - 1316 - Scoobynatural
Both are comedic, neither particularly Halloween related, which is why they're the furthest from Halloween itself.
This X-Files episode is an interesting one, as it is often considered to undermine the entire premise of the series, to the point that in retrospect they are surprised the show was able to continue after this, let alone as long as it did. Though I think people overhype how much it does that. Regardless, this is one of my favorite episodes.
This will actually be my first episode of Supernatural. For those unfamiliar, this episode involves the characters of Supernatural getting sucked into an episode of Scooby Doo, where they are animated. I've heard great things about this episode.
