If you got the Royal Pack then no you won't get the Season Pass DLC. If you bought the Royal Edition game then you get every DLC besides Ardyn episode.
You could try Devil May Cry 5 or the Resident Evil 2 remake. Soul Calibur VI is also on sale, but its individual S1 DLC no longer is (only the season pass).I can't seem to sell the PSN code I got for christmas, so I might as well try to use it...but nothing is really jumping out to me. I dunno what I feel like playing.
If you guys could recommend 1 game on PSN that's on sale right now, which one would you suggest? One stipulation though: it has to be by a Japanese studio. I'm not as big a fan of western devs.
I would get DMC5, but I haven't played 1-4 yet...I've only started playing those games, and just suck at them too much. Always remember the punishment DMC3 gave me when I tried that game. RE2 wasn't a game I was gonna miss, I was a big fan of the original back in the day, and I platinumed the remake in like the first week. Got Soul Calibur VI on steam fom the humble monthly recently also. Normally when I own a game on steam, I'm not objected to buying again on console, because that's where I prefer to play, but I wasn't really a fan of that new system in SC6...its like rock paper scissors, and I just didnt like it.You could try Devil May Cry 5 or the Resident Evil 2 remake. I'd say DMC5 feels more lenient compared to DMC3 in spite of still being a challenge (vanilla DMC3 was probably the most punishing in the series), having a training mode option with The Void and not only gives out Gold Orbs pretty frequently for continues, but also lets players spend Red Orbs directly to continue. Feel free to skip DMC2 while you're playing through the first four though, universally agreed upon as the worst in the franchise. Way ahead of me on RE2. And yeah, though SCVI is well-liked and regarded as one of the best in the series, pretty much no one likes the Reversal Edge mechanic.I would get DMC5, but I haven't played 1-4 yet...I've only started playing those games, and just suck at them too much. I feel like if I ever do play through the DMC series, I just gotta play DMC2 also...I've been hearing that it's the worst for so long, that I NEED to know why people say that. I need context, lol.I'd say DMC5 feels more lenient compared to DMC3 in spite of still being a challenge (vanilla DMC3 was probably the most punishing in the series), having a training mode option with The Void and not only gives out Gold Orbs pretty frequently for continues, but also lets players spend Red Orbs directly to continue. Other than those, I'd say Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Monster Hunter: World, Ace Combat 7, or Yakuza 0.
DMC2 is absolutely not worth playing. It's the worst because it's walking down a bunch of brown corridors holding the square button while everything dies. Guns are way overpowered, combos arent fun, or rewarding, enemies are lame and forgettable, it's just a bunch of brown buildings and pallet swaps. It's not "omg look how bad this is!" It's just offensively boring and easy as piss.I feel like if I ever do play through the DMC series, I just gotta play DMC2 also...I've been hearing that it's the worst for so long, that I NEED to know why people say that. Maybe I just play too many damn games lol, I haven't played FF12 yet, but I own it on Switch....Played a fair chuck of Monster Hunter World, but don't have Iceborne....haven't really played Ace Combat games, so maybe i'll take a look at that...and Yakuza 0, well that game got me started on that whole series finally and I've played all the main games except 2 (or Kiwami 2). Yakuza 0 is still my favorite though.
Hellblade had an amazing first hour or so and then they shoved liked 6 rune puzzles in a row and I quickly hated it. Ugh
I understand the love for it in the audiovisual and conceptual sense, I'm just annoyed at how often and repetitive the puzzles are. Yes I get it, she has psychosis so she's looking for patterns where there aren't any. You don't need to do the same exact puzzle 10 times in one hour for me to understand that.i found it a very easy game to get very quickly tired of. never did finish it, or understand the love for it...
Hollow KnightI have a $50 (CAD) PSN card that my friend gifted me for Christmas which I had 50 in my PSN wallet. :D
Which game(s) will I get for $100?

I wish it had less puzzles and more just walking around and exploration. It feels kinda like unnecessary padding and I was fine with the game before they became so commonplace. The cutscenes/acting are great, the use of film grain and colors and sound is amazing etc. but it just feels like tedious busywork.
It'll start on 1/6 when a bunch of the games in the sale end.Playstation blog says round 2 starts on "Thursday, January 5th" an incorrect date. So Thursday or Sunday?
Yes. First dlc is weak. Second is substantial, adds three new areas too, plus you get AC3 which is one of the worst in the series but ymmv. Note the base game will keep you busy a lot longer, just saying in case you fear burnout before starting the expansions.Assassin's Creed Oyssey season pass worth buying ?
I'm about 10 or so hours into the game and quite enjoying it

Definitely worth it. I found the first DLC to be pretty "meh" and the second DLC to be pretty good. You also get AC3 Remastered (which also included Liberation Remastered.)Assassin's Creed Oyssey season pass worth buying ?

A Plague Tale: Innocence is $24.99. Can't wait for the Store to have wishlists. I found out about this by looking at my PS store website wishlist.
I grabbed this due to the praise and the right price point.A Plague Tale: Innocence is $24.99. Can't wait for the Store to have wishlists. I found out about this by looking at my PS store website wishlist.
More games have been added to the sale:
Working on it.I realize this is a tall order, but could someone please list out which games are in Round 2?
Alternately, if someone knew of a way to enable the left-pane filter on the full 1290 item list, I could at least use that...

It seems like its one of the better deals when it comes to season passes.
Are the dlc's a decent length ? I know the main game is around 30 hours or more
Man, PS+ got an extra discount today. 12 months for $30dlls was a good deal.

I've finally swallowed the hard to swallow pill that is online subscriptions on consoles and I'd love to sub for a year at that price.
AC3 isn't my favorite, but I'd recommend to at least play it once since it's one of my favorite settings in the series and Connor (though it takes a little while) is a good protagonist. The story is fine for the most part. Liberation surprised me, I had an overall enjoyable time with it and Aveline's a fun protagonist. Is AC3 or Liberation worth playing though ? I have AC3 on Uplay since it was free and Liberation I only played the demo a while back
