I mean, she's not wrong. San Francisco, for example, would vote in a Mission style burrito over anyone with an R next to their name.
No lies detected tbh. I wish the party could be more left and more progressive, but there's also a need to take the temperature in the room and win elections because, as we've seen time and time again, the alternative is an absolute nightmare.
And her point is that you can't maintain control of the House while aiming left. So what's it to be?
I mean if you're talking the main election and not the primaries she's not really wrong, republicans had no chance of winning the actual seat. At the same time though downplaying the primary victory seems really disingenuous here

She is right. The districts that allowed us to win the house are not solidly D and we cant elected 217 AOCs

I don't see a problem with what she is saying. People are assuming that she is taking a dig at AOC, but says the same thing about her district.
A glass of water might be able to, but Joe Crowley sure didn't. I think the establishment is shook that they risk being primaried by young determined progressives who actually want to see progress instead of constant compromises where Dems capitulate to Republicans.
I mean the arguement here is that Democrats would lose ground on a national scale if they only ran candidates like Cortez regardless of the actual state of local politics in any given district which is why she's saying they have to take a more centrist approach overall

Joe Crowley was able to do it 10 times though. The point was that no matter who became the democratic candidate, that person was going to beat the republicans in that district
