Glad to break through the 20k barrier this morning. I am going to try to get another 2000 done this evening to catch up with the benchmark.
My writing sucks this year, I am very out of practise. Im glad for Nanowrimo giving me the drive to keep writing despite not feeling like it is any good.

I don't usually do it every day. My pace is more a few words here and there and when I have free time big spurts of words.
I hope to one day read your stories!
Yeah I would like to link mine someday for some people to read.
I don't follow your math.
even assuming you finished your 50k today... that still allows you at least another 50k this month at your usual pace :P
aka YOU CAN DO IT :P
There would be no more story after an extra 35k or so though!!!
then you would be done then at 85k which is totally doable for you this month :P
then hit that and figure out the rest and get 100k this month then :P
I'm good with hitting the target, being "done" and working on next year's Nano ideas which needs far, far more work than this one(like, probably triple the amount of effort of planning in comparison).

If you're interested in reading people stories, we've got creative writing challenges with short stories from quite a few Era posters here. We're on break for Nano but on December 1st we start right back up with a new challenge in case you ever wanted to do some writing after Nano at a bit of a less frantic pace.
