Hey all.

I came across this and found it interesting

Naughty Dog has a new job listing for a graphics programmer with a "thorough understanding" of GPU architectures, such as AMD's GCN and Nvidia's CUDA, and experience with DirectX 12 and/or Vulkan.

The requirements

Requirements & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Strong math skills with an emphasis in 3D math
Strong knowledge of C and C++ programming languages
Thorough understanding of current GPU architectures (AMD GCN, NVIDIA CUDA)
Experience with DirectX12, Vulkan or other modern graphics or compute APIs
Experience with HLSL/GLSL or other equivalent shader languages
Console or PC programming experience
Passion for playing and developing exceptional games

I wonder if this means we will see Sony adopt a similar approach as Microsoft

Why not, it'd be cool to have their games on PC.

I just wish I could somehow link my PSN account to a Steam/EGS one so I can still play with my PSN friends and earn trophies.

We've been over this already: the requirements and skills in the job listing is identical to one from 2 years ago.
