Jeanie can't sell the tram. Each sibling owns a controlling share. Dr. Buss made is so that it's incredibly difficult to sell the team outside the family.
Roster is nice but Luke is a trash coach. If I were Luke I'd steer clear of Vlade but that's a nice roster for him.
As of right now Pelinka is in charge and they are likely looking at the people he and Magic talked about.Wouldn't you focus replacing Magic first and let them pick who they want or at least they're compatible with the new HC....?
Oh I forgot, LeBron is really in charge.
Jeannie, stop it...
LaVar will buy the Lakers, they'll get the 1st pick and he'll draft LiAngelo.
I'm so glad Luke is gone. His execution and player dev are super bad and he refused to hire anyone other than his Arizona friends. Three years with no improvement as a coach.

LeBron isn't in charge at all. It's not a Cleveland situation. Jeannie is in charge here.Wouldn't you focus replacing Magic first and let them pick who they want or at least they're compatible with the new HC....?

We even got reports that the Lakers wanted to avoid Lue because people would be calling it a LeBron move before Jeanie assured them that's not the case.
Griffin would be a very good get and Lue is an upgrade over Luke so I'd be cool with that personally.
Yes. LeBron is going to have some sway within the organization, but she's in charge. It's not a LeGM situation like in Cleveland.
At this point, Griffin would actually be a good get for them.
Celtics and terrible ping pong luck name a better duo. At least the Memphis pick has a solid chance of being top 8 which is great for the Celtics.
I think the Grizzlies pick potentially not conveying this year is much more important than the other tiebreakers. That's really good for Boston and reallly bad for Memphis. Cavs still the lottery š.
I would pretty much guarantee they don't want it this year just because of the quality of this draft + the decreasing protections + the logistical nightmare that draft night might present. They presumably wouldn't know whether Kyrie is staying or leaving on draft night and thus whether they are potentially drafting on behalf of NO or for themselves.Celtics win-win whether the pick conveys or not. If it conveys they can offer it in a trade for AD. If it doesn't convey they might get a better pick next year.
Top heavy draft. Celtics don't want any part of the pick this year. They want the Grizzlies to be so bad they get the unprotected 2021. That would be the ideal scenario for the Celtics/NO if they trade the pick. 2021 is the rumored year in which the one and done rule is going to be eliminated. So there is a small chance this pick is going to be crazy good.Celtics win-win whether the pick conveys or not. If it conveys they can offer it in a trade for AD. If it doesn't convey they might get a better pick next year.
Yup. If this pick conveys this year they are going to have 4 firsts which is a problem.I would pretty much guarantee they don't want it this year just because of the quality of this draft + the decreasing protections + the logistical nightmare that draft night might present. He's citing Chris HaynesIs there anyone beside Sam Amico reporting the Mark Jackson stuff? Amico is sketchy as fuck.
Thanks! Had just seen the Woj reports which didn't mention Jackson.
