Bradley Beal on an actual playoff contender is making more money from endorsements and other deals in addition to his contract than he would playing for arguably the worst franchise in the NBA making the money he is now.
He's also probably willing too.
Secure the bag. Worry about getting traded later. That's the blue print. No amount of extra endorsements from playing on a playoff contender (it ain't like Brad Beal is LeBron fucking James) would make up for the guaranteed money he secured by agreeing to an extension.
