I am ignorant to metal. I had always thought metal bands in general had a hard on for neo nazi shit. This band and their angle have completely upended my beliefs. I am ready and willing to find out ive been dead wrong about metal. Please inform the ignoramus over here.

Sure, there are some wackjobs out there (also, the few more overtly racist stuff is more hardcore punk), but in over 20 years of going to shows, festivals (all types of genres) and working at a record label (publishing all types of music), I always considered the metal 'audience' to be the most open minded, friendly and relaxed of the bunch. And never forget that some of the most extreme artists with a "debatable message" are still just a 0,1% of the whole scene.

on the hardcore note, i think it's worth pointing out that racists gravitate to the genre, but it doesn't work in reverse. there's the occasional skrewdriver or the like that makes some kind of crossover into the 'normal' scene, but for the most part the white nationalist hardcore scene is a self-contained cottage industry. they make music for a specific audience and are generally marginalized to the communities of explicit racists - you don't really see them making headway in any of wider scene. i'll concede that it's been a long time since i've had my finger anywhere near the pulse of the genre, so maybe there's been a significant change since i did, but that shit was largely just derided and mocked, if discussed at all.

Considering how fucking backwards too many people's perceptions are on the state of the current political landscape, I unironically love how unsubtle this is. You practically need to beat this message over peoples' heads before it sinks in it seems; what better at doing something like that than some metal?

Some good points there. Funny, if you think about it, 'skinhead hardcore' has the same business model as 'christian rock', it's a very specific niche :p

So are the lyrics a joke, because all I can hear in the songs is screaming.

Amazing song titles and lyrics though.

Please Respond (I Showed You My Penis) must be one of the all time greatest song titles.

Great band and album names too.

Metal concerts have had some of the most diverse crowds I've ever seen.

ZzzzzzZzzzZzz...
My main jam is EDM and even I find this painfully repetitive and uniform. That said, don't care. Some ideas are simply perfect, though I'd love a version with vocals! Need that physical version ASAP because this would make a lovely novelty gift for all the antifa socialists progressives democrats losers in my household.
Well it sounds like it was produced on a toaster oven, so it's def black metal.
On my set of higher-end headphones it's infinitely better than when I tried earbuds. The bass can actually expand and you get way more detail.

Not surprising. Some of the lower-production value black metal i have sounds better with good equipment, which I honestly didn't expect. Figured it would be worse.

More a joke at the genre at this point.

It's a crying shame it's black metal and therefore unlistenable and incomprehensible, because The Fetishization of Asian Women Despite a Demand for a Pure White Race (outro) could have been one of the FINEST punk songs in history.

Somebody tell Prayers and make a Cholo Goth collab.

Big fan of metal but not black metal seemingly recorded on a potato in a garage. If this were more a hardcore punk band like Comeback Kid for example, this would be a masterclass. Creativity is off the charts though.
