I love the original content, don't get me wrong. I do worry that Netflix's ultimate goal is to completely ditch any licensed content - meaning things not under "Netflix Originals". I think that's been their idea for a 5-6 years.....

Their idea was to race against the clock for when content providers started to pull their content (see Disney). They didn't want to rely on content providers. The second reason is to have content exclusive to the platform and thus have people continually subscribing to the service.

I know, but licensed to Netflix only. I'm talking about them just paying to host other studio's stuff like big budget movies.

I know. But eventually there will be no place to subscribe to see regular big screen movies anymore. It'll all be pay per view again.

Serious question, why is it hard for me to find good movies\TV shows on netflix ?

IDK if I grew up on movies and tv shows that I dont find them interesting anymore(although I still enjoy GoT a lot) ,or netflix is really not my taste.

Not sure what you're expecting people to answer here without giving more information. There are plenty of recommendation lists online for shows/movies that are either popular and/or people think are worth watching.

i didn't know if i was gonna like it but this show is pretty good!

It took a while for people to catch on, but I think the buzz got it going quite well. It definitely is good, and tackles some pretty deep subjects at the same time. Could have easily been a modern take on a TGIF show.

Watched Cam today, that was a good thriller. Madeline Brewer is just amazing in every role I've seen her in, bright star, that one.

Only watched the first two episodes of MST3K so far but the pace of jokes is better so far this season. Hopefully Netflix renews it again.
