Finished You tonight.
Really enjoyed it. It gave me a bit of a Dexter vibe, probably down to how the story is told. I would recommend giving it a try if you haven't.

Sex Education might be one of the best series of this decade. Such a wonderful show with so much thought and heart put into it. Something about the humour of this show is vaguely Simpsons like but a bit more verbose and less based on non-sequitirs. Really look forward to the next series.

Trigger Warning with Killer Mike is also fantastic.

Hi Score Girl is pretty good, but Netflix seems to cut out the shorts that usually go where the commercial breaks are. They've done the same thing with other shows too!

The new Watership Down was a nice one too.

It's been a while since the last time a show caught me as much as Russian Doll is doing right now :) Will try not to binge watch it too quickly.

On the other hand, I was unimpressed by Sex Education. Has some interesting points, but the actors don't really sell the High School setting. It's also kind of caricatural at times... does it get better? (Just watched the first episode tight now)

Watched a couple of episodes of Narcos Mexico.... But I'm having a hard time getting into it. It's hard for me to separate enjoying something silly with all of the terrible shit associated with the illegality of marijuana. These guys are all evil, but it all happened just because old white dudes were afraid their daughers were going to have sex with black guys. Makes it hard to root for the "good guys" on the show. I'm watching and thinking , "it's just weed".

side note:

IO fucking sucked. Don't waste your time.

Is 'Z Nation' worth watching? I like zombie/apocalypse stories, but I'm really iffy after watching the first episode. The characters make some really dumb decisions, for example
in one scene people are bartering with bullets like they're super valuable and later in the ep, the same people unload 30 rounds to kill 2 zombies and a dude who was bitten.

It's one of those so bad it's good kind of show. If you like zombies, sure keep going.

Finished Nightflyers. What a clusterfuck of a story. Makes me mad how they wasted such a great setting.

Yo, what is the deal with these American/Australian cheerleading and gymnastics movies on Netflix?
They all have the exact same premise
"American girl gives up her US Olympic gymnastics dream to move with her family to Australia, a new friend gets her to rejoin"
There is like 6 of them all are separate series but they share a production company.

There are others that are exactly the same but "Cheerleading" is just pasted in lol.

Honestly was getting mad at Netflix for showing me the same movies over and over.

Loved this season of One Day at a Time. Still good and maybe the show with most heart. However, the first few episodes, especially, were pretty clunky, probably to ensure the show could get renewed again. It found its footing later on but some of the show's usually very organic third acts felt more contrived this time. At least the pay-off is just as emotional as ever and you'll be hard to find a show that sweeps in as emotionally powerful as this one every single episode!

WATCH IT so it can get renewed, PLEASE.
