That's about the gameplay and story. This is about the reveal event next month.
These might both be invite-only, I've only seen well-known FGC dudes get into the US one so far, so not exactly holding my breath.
And its great.
MKX and Injustice 2 had many months of complete silence after their reveal until the beginning of the next year.
Im glad that they decided to skip E3 and wait until VGA to reveal it so they can polish it a lot before showing and can have reveals nonstop.
Oh, seems you can book tickets next Friday (for London at least).

The last two campaigns, MKX and Injustice 2, had a reveal around E3, gameplay at E3/info, a character reveal for the next two months, then basically nothing for months until January. There were tremendous droughts of info that people, including myself, complained about quite a bit. With this the could reveal half the cast at that event, several characters and streams/breakdowns throughout the 3 months peppered in with story trailers all within a 4 month period. They're gonna keep the game in the news constantly.
According to the leaks there won't be a gear system, mostly just optional weapons.
