There are a beacons that you can do with your tribe that bring up a shield and corrupted dinos will come try to attack the beacon. Depending on the difficulty of the beacon, you have to hold out for a number of waves before you get the treasure in the beacon.
There's all sorts of corrupted creatures from other maps. They didn't show any of the new creatures, but they did show that there are corrupted variants of pretty much anything we have seen before. There's even corrupted Wyverns and Rock Drakes. Wyverns were the end-all be-all reward mount for Scorched Earth, and Rock Drakes were the same for Aberration.
