Yes I noticed this the other day. I thought maybe I'm just going crazy. I see scan lines when there's motion but not when it's sitting idle.Got the new Switch yesterday, but does anyone with the new system notice scan lines on fast motion? Traded in my old Switch yesterday so I couldn't compare. I don't think I've noticed it on my launch Switch.
I'm not. Perfectly happy with the OG switch. Especially because I have an earlier model that can run CFW. Might be worth something to someone down the road. Still, this doesn't entice me to do anything.
Never say never. If they want to stay competitive they're going to have to have a more powerful option.Pro might not even happen (sadly).
As for the battery life, it seems to be roughly 1.5x and maybe 2x the battery life of the original.
There is no Pro yet. Never say never with Nintendo. We got like 6 iterations of the 3ds..There is no Pro though. This is it.
I'm thinking about doing it as well. I wouldn't really do the data transfer though, I'd just pull my data from the cloud and go from there.
lmao what is this, "fite me irl"?Tell that to every single person with a defective launch Switch. Let's see how long you last.
Er, no? It's more of a joke.
Well, based on the multiple videos I've seen about the plastic bending and breaking I would say "most people".My day 1 Switch is fine. Other than there obviously being an issue with the design of the joycon sticks I've never even heard of this supposed issue where "most people's" launch Switches are "falling apart"
Launch day Switch here, it's indeed falling apart. Didn't crack externally but did inside I think, the upper rightmost screw broke internally or something because it separates entirely. Was fine for months but recently the kickstand fell out as did the internal plastic/screws it latches into. Nevermind the two sets of drifting joycons I've now gone through. Just thought you might like an account that yes, this does happen. There is if your launch Switch is falling apart like most people's.
Until the eviction notice gets taped to their door
You know what's weird about this... it's not a new thing. After I read your post I googled and found lots of complaints of that from launch.Yes I noticed this the other day. I thought maybe I'm just going crazy. I see scan lines when there's motion but not when it's sitting idle.

It's faint but definitely noticeable and it doesn't go away for me after some playtime like the comment says.this comment mentions the scanlines going away after a bit - is this the same for you both? how bad are they? i haven't noticed anything like this on my current device and i'm worried it would bug me.
If I play exclusively docked on my tv, are there any advantages to upgrading?
are there news on the new switch availability from europe ? germany, uk etc. ?
If you're in the UK it's filtering through to Smyths Toys but most don't have them atm. Argos might be getting stock on the 18th of this month but we're not sure if there will be a new listing, so you may end up buying an old Switch potentially.are there news on the new switch availability from europe ? germany, uk etc. ?
Should be next week in Franceare there news on the new switch availability from europe ? germany, uk etc. ?
How to confuse your customers with the old stock photosShopto (UK) have just put up preorders. They are calling it Nintendo Switch 1.1

No. The chip is about 92mm^2 or 78% the size of the original TX1 (From estimations I made from photographs) , and made by TSMC. (Post in the link)

Another reason to wait for an interesting feedback and analysis from Digital FoundryIt's not. The battery life in the new Switch revision seems to have been increased by, on average, about two hours. However, that drops down markedly when processor intensive games/game areas are being displayed - I can't remember where I saw it but as an example, it's only just over an extra hour if in Korok Forest in BotW.
It seems that the Nintendo Switch revision has started to appear in Europe.
It's quite significant in most use cases. I was able to play Fire Emblem two nights in a row for a couple hours each time and still had juice left over. Wouldn't have made it through day one on my old Switch. It's not. The battery life in the new Switch revision seems to have been increased by, on average, about two hours. Ive been going back and forth on this for days now, do i spend 93 bucks on upgrading my current switch...or wait another month and spend 212 on another switch that has the portable benefits that this will give me
