Yeah it's pretty straight up trainer-based gacha when you look at it like that.
Why do people compare a new entity in a franchise with another? It's not like they're both videogames.

I'm personally more excited for this than Sword and Shield. Not because of some weird need to compare the two, but because I've always wanted the Pokemon franchise to do more with old trainers because I like a lot of them and knew I'd never see them again in the main franchise, so this is everything I could have asked for, while I'm not that into any of the new Pokemon designs in Sword and Shield.
Because people are trying to crap on Game Freak and Sword/Shield lately and taking every opportunity

Why would it be sarcasm? Brock and Tyranitar look like official artwork, and Tyranitar is depicted with its correct height.

for me, this game suffers the same problem as a lot of other games that tries hard to mimic 2D anime art: the lack of contrast
I love the aesthetics of it, though simple, and considering it's a mobile game, at least isn't as plain as Pokémon Go, or as ugly as Pokémon Shuffle stages/map.

I don't think she was a fire specialist, nor a woman lol (she's about the trainer's age I think, at least in the anime looked like Ash's age).
She had other Pokémon in her teams like Ninjask, Weavile, Sceptile, Electrode, Crobat, I think her team changed depending on the game/facility but yeah, Arcanine was basically her only Fire type Pokémon.
Hilda better get a 5*. Still pissy that Rosa got the fan acclaim over the superior in every way Hilda.
