Google translate:
"I have a CPU-Z image of 3600, but I feel like hmm. Credibility is a mystery. I think it is interesting, and even if it is not funny."

Ryzen 3600 is supposed to be 8C Zen2 CPU and that is the most interesting thing to us considering next gen consoles.

It's also been speculated to be the chip they beat the 9900K with on Cinbenech in that CES presentation.

Though now it's been suggested that the 3600 part will be 6 cores, contradicting AdoredTV's info.

I mean it doesn't take an expert to know that. Phil Spencer even said so in the last whatever the Xbox thingy is called that is like Nintendo Direct and State of Play where he said "we thought long and hard about E3 but we decided to go all out".
And with sony not being there it only leaves one places for other developers to show their games (those that don't have a panel of their own).

I would be disappointed if this wasn't the biggest and best Xbox show they ever had. It is what I expect. I expect a plethora of AAA games, reveals, surprises, jaw droppers, hardware talk and more.

It's less that MS won't have a big show and more that he literally says that every year.

Last year he especially hyped up the exclusives they'd show, which ended up being:
- new Halo
- new Gears
- funko Gears
- XCom Gears

Edit: My bad, maybe wasn't him. Could have swore I had seen his tweets for last year

This doesn't sound right. All the previous info we got was that 3300 series will be 6C,3600 8C,3700 12C and 3800 16C CPUs.
That's because Adored's list of SKU names were bogus to begin with. The fact he kept saying there will be one that comes with a GPU chiplet was already a red flag. Same goes for his listed clock speeds. I'm not giving him shit because he's been right in the past, but when rumors sound too good to be true, they most likely are.

The "Xbox going massive at E3" chatter stems from a Major Nelson podcast in January featuring Phil Spencer.

Spencer casually says there was internal discussion (re. Sony) whether to go big or save money this year and the team decided they will "do their thing" as normal and be as big as ever. People seized upon the "AS BIG AS EVER" part of his answer while ignoring the broader context. The hype has grown from there.

Spencer offered some clues what to expect re. unveiling some new first-party games, communicating their PC gaming plans, xCloud ("gamer choice" will be a major keyword). Expect a similar show to last year with Gears5, Halo, one or two new first-party games thrown into the mix to better balance the third-party stuff, Xbox Live outreach (additional releases on other platforms) next-generation console hype reel. They will want to keep the big guns silent for E3 2020 I would imagine. A solid show overall.

It's in their own interest to hype up E3. And everyone has done it in the past for almost every press event so it doesn't mean anything. Let's not forget that a "Big show" is in the eyes of the beholder. More powerful systems aren't exciting to everyone.

Yeah, it was a cracking show exclusives or not.

But for this year, with Sony sitting this one out, a new gen next year, and Phil Spencer literally saying so, it would be more surprising if MS didn't go all out.

Do you mean 6GB overall, or 6GB for games? The Switch is impressive using only 800MB for the OS, and I wonder if they'll be able to keep that up in the next machine.

And yeah, I don't see a Switch 2 SSD needing to be as fast as what the PS5 will probably have. Matching a budget modern NVMe should be fine - can you imagine what the PS4 would've been like with a guaranteed SSD + external drive support but no other changes?
Guess I should have said 8GB overall leaving around 5-6GB exclusively for games.

you would think the Dev Kit would have the same CU count as the final console. i get increasing the clock count, but making a completely different silicon? sounds odd, to say the least.

Wait you have Twitter in french?
You do. it shows your setting/language. it is not a picture but a link
No I don't. It's weird, I see it in french in his post and in english (my language) in my quote
Indeed the twitter feed I copied from was French. Usually though I copy from a English language setting feed. Depends on the device I am on and my mood.

The xbox one x dev kit has 44 active CU's where as the retail unit only has 40 active, the dev kit gets the "perfect" chips that dont need any CU's disabled for a little extra oomph

Why? Vega 64 has 64 CUs.

Team 8 tflops also assumed 64 CUs back when the gonzolo leak came out in January.
because we dont know of any card coming any time soon of the navi line that is 64CU, that card supposedly only comes out in 2020 and it is very rare for consoles to use the high end chip design that releases on the same year as the console.
unless if you think MS are using Vega? but a 64CU vega is way too TDP intensive, sorry, i just dont see it.

Technically we don't know of any navi card coming out soon. :p

I dont think ms is vega but vega 64 would be almost 3.5 years old by the time x2 launches in November 2020. That's a long time to figure out how to get 64CUs in a console APU.

But I want get back to us, there has been really good work to get us to the position where we are poised to compete for 2 billion gamers across the planet. Google went big today and we have a couple of months until E3 when we will go big.

Yes I'm fairly sure MS will go all out this year. With no Sony they're going to have most of the attention on them. I don't think it'll be as crazy as 2015 Sony but we're going to get some huge announcements regardless.
