Waiting for someone to explain this latest revelation to me using the only credible metrics: Dragon Ball power levels or number of GameCubes.
How? None have shared any numbers. You guys are reading too much into it.Matt semi confirmed ps5 is stronger than Scarlett family in other thread btw.
Damnnnn.all that power talk ? Wtf
I was looking at that and couldn't be sure it wasn't a Scorpio board. But yes, the die looks very rectangular, which would give more edge area for memory controllers.
12 chips confirmed.
4 more are on the bottom, shown in the first picture showcasing the SOC
So 24GB Ram
So 672 GB/s with 14 Gbps GDDR6 and a 384-Bit-Interface then.
12 chips confirmed.

Matt confirmed in other thread that ps5 is more powerful btw for your reference
Not sure how you expect to be taken seriously with a comment like this.i mean... that trailer looked worse than the cod mw trailer graphically.
Yes & no, people forget Maxwell was still on 28nm & the 970 despite being much smaller & cheaper to produce, it beat out the large $699 780 Ti. Pascal had to drop to 16nm to achieve this & the 1070 couldn't beat a 980 Ti because Maxwell had better clocks.Pascal was a big leap in terms of performance. Bigger than Maxwel even. It was from that point on that AMD couldn't compete anymore at the high end.
Link please?Matt confirmed in other thread that ps5 is more powerful btw for your reference

U do know he has developer friends(which have both now ) and he has been 100% correct when he says somethingHow? None have shared any numbers. You guys are reading too much into it.
He said that is the rumor around E3. He didn't pass it off as fact.
It's in the ither thread about tweet before e3 of ps5 being more powerful where he replied :
hahahhahaSony may match or slightly surpass in them in gpu, but at this point it does not matter.
Uhhh I highly doubt Matt knows the final spec for PS5/Scarlett..cmon now..Matt confirmed in other thread that ps5 is more powerful btw for your reference
Yeah, I wasn't sure either, but Xbox One X motherboard looks a lot different.I was looking at that and couldn't be sure it wasn't a Scorpio board. But yes, the die looks very rectangular, which would give more edge area for memory controllers.
That guy spreading FUD again?Uhhh I highly doubt Matt knows the final spec for PS5/Scarlett..cmon now..

It is lol hahaha
Sony may match or slightly surpass in them in gpu, but at this point it does not matter. If sony go for 24gbs of gddr6 it's going to be a minimum of $499
He changed it as he is not supposed to say lol but I have him qputed .check my qpute before he changes it

There is a reason Ms didn't share TF numbers ;)

His association with game developers is not enough.U do know he has developer friends(which have both now ) and he has been 100% correct when he says something
But then he answered another comment hinting that both MS and Sony don't know numbers.
I said this about when people were dunking on me for saying 12GB's in PS5 wasn't too bad, the SSD (& compression from Zen/Navi) can make that 12GB go much further, i have no doubt the SSD will help out here.
It means they'll be using AMD's HBCC in a way that's similar to the Radeon SSGs - basically, a cache of NAND "extends" the RAM pool and is adressed as if it were RAM, and is usually used as paged memory. The controller then swaps things in and out as needed. Basically allows really huge datasets to be loaded and ready for use.

I wouldn't expect either console to be finalized yet for a 2020 holiday release.
