18 games is great. They kept the integrity of the game by only allowing a player 16 games to get stats.

18 games are definitely coming. Just cut 2 preseason games and add another bye week. It ain't that hard. More money for more players and owners.

18 games is fucking stupid — especially with the 16 games per player limit. I want more football, but no.

The schedule and setup now is perfect -- allow the full roster to play if any case. No more inactives. The players don't want 18, just the owners and (some) fans. More money is all they care about.

Coaches already have to juggle a million factors, they won't want to think about whether any of their fifty-three players haven't skipped enough games before the end of the season gets here. What a hassle.

If you're going to expand to 18 games, just increase the roster to 60 players and don't force anyone to be inactive on game day.

Are there promising advancements happening with helmet technology that could substantially reduce head injuries?

I've read that helmets actually made the game more dangerous than before because they wouldn't launch into each other the way they have the last 50+ years.

Thoughts:
1. the franchise is a nonprofit, to some extent breaking as close to even as possible is the goal
2. the Packers don't utilize all the revenue streams they could (e.g. concessions), while other teams do
3. I hope we stop sucking soon

Peyton apparently said no to MNF because he doesn't want to analyze Eli or his former teammates.

I am hoping once Eli retires, they do it together. Let the Manning bros run it. Fire everyone else, Booger first.

He was really really good last year

There's almost a 10 point gap between him and Ben, and his numbers are marginally better at best.

4,308 yards passing, 32 touchdowns, 12 int, 68.3% completion rating, 8.5 yards/att, and a 70.0 QBR rating. 94 Madden rating.

5,129 yards passing, 34 touchdowns, 16 ints, 67% completion rating, 7.6 yards/att, and 71.7 QBR. 85 Madden rating.

Rivers was exceptionally better than Ben last year, in every meaningful metric, it might have been his top 2 or 3 year ever as a QB.
