I don't know anyone who's a Packer fan who's optimistic about them right now lol. Our only hope for the playoffs is to steal the #2 seed and force the Saints or one of the wild cards to come to Lambeau

To add some perspective to yesterday's game... The Redskins are certainly not as bad as their record indicates, they have a pretty good defense and they've been playing okay since Gruden was fired. They came into Green bay on a two game winning streak... This is also a team that held SF to 9 points and lost to Min by essentially the same score if you take away the garbage td.

Having said that if the Packers are going to go anywhere in the playoffs, it falls on Rodgers shoulder, he has not played well since the bye he played like garbage yesterday...

He had overall pretty good protection but held on to the ball way to long waiting for things to open up, he also had a couple bad overthrow on what would have been long TDS. He has to start trusting his initial reads and the other receivers in this offense.

Packers suck, but if they get a playoff bye somehow, they can suck all their way to the Super Bowl.

They just need the bye and a lot of luck. It would be nice to actually be good, but you take what you can get...

If the eagles make the playoffs can they somehow play the packers?

the eagles would lose
Probably not, the NFCW has the #5 seed on lock, the NFCE champ (aka Philly) will be the #4 seed -- Pack will be 2, 3, or 6. so we'd both have to win some games in the playoffs...

Which is going to be a tall order for both of our sorry ass teams

Rodgers hasn't just been playing poorly since the bye week, he's been slowly regressing for the last couple of years. I never thought I'd say this but the problem with the Packers is their offense and primarily Rodgers. Our defense is better when they're not gassed because the offense keeps going 3 and out

The blame will fall on Rodgers, but the Pack's biggest problem on offense is that the interior o-line is a tire fire. He's playing jumpy, but he should be playing jumpy, because they can't block for shit.

lol at the official return of we're on to Cincinnati. That was after a KC loss too right? And that year Pats went on to win SB? 🤔

Pats are not winning the SB this year 😕
They have a chance if they hold the 2. If the bills beat them and the chiefs get the 2 I don't think they will since they have never won with a wild card

Without his QB, QB2, WR1, or RB plus other injuries
What coach would you say has done a better job this year? Steelers lost their #1 receiver, running backs and QBs and 8-5 is way better than most anyone thought they'd be at this point.

Frank Reich has done decent with a injury ridden team and no qb1/Wr1/TE1/RB1. But I mean even the Phins coach is doing well. But we are all assessing them vs teams that aren't top yet.

Not dismissing what he has done, but to get that award you need to face good competition first eh? Fact is that Steelers defense is very good and has gotten them the opportunities to win, if that core was medicore you wouldn't be seeing those wins

Why? Because he was able to outplay the Cards, Browns (x2), Bengals, Rams, Colts, Chargers and Dolphins in past 8 games? Mighty big challenge

Not many teams can lose Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger. Start a 2nd, and then 4th string undrafted QB. Missing their 1st and 2nd WRs at different points of the season. Missing their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd string RB's at certain points of the season. And still come out of it with a winning record and in the drivers seat for a 5th seed. Hell, three of our five losses are to arguably the best teams in football (Seahawks, Ravens and 49ers) - and we lost them by combined 2, 4, and 3 points respectively in the final minutes of the games.

The ravens and 49ers losses were so frustrating especially that roughing the passer call that let the ravens tie it

I wouldn't put it past the pats, an incredibly secretive organization, to all of a sudden produce a documentary. Unless, it was just to get access to opposing team information. These trumpers playing 4D chess.

The Colts are 6-7

The Steelerss are 8-5. No one is saying Tomlin will win COTY because people ultimately just care about wins and storylines, and barring some miracle the steelers won't get far in the playoffs. But given how much they've lost and the fact that they're in control for a playoff spot and would likely be a division winner if they didn't have one of the 3 best teams in football, he should be considered for CotY

Pundits were predicting the Steelers to go .500 or worse in the preseason before all the injuries hit. I'm still predicting them to go .500, just to be consistent.
