Serious question, does any other team in the league do this thing that the Oilers do ALL the time:
Sign a player such as a backup goalie who's performing better than the main goalie with the plan of him being the new main guy. But then play the fuck out of the old guy in hopes to 'raise his value'?
The Oilers do it all the time, and I think it always just means they both end up losing a lot of games, and also lowering the value of that player even more than it already was.
