What a joke of a game. If this team misses the playoffs it will be because of the fucking horrific PP. Absolutely blew any chance to get back into this game on their awful PP and gave up a shortie. Same story for so many losses this season. The fact Julien and the rest of the coaching staff won't get their heads out of their asses and figure it the fuck out is so frustrating.

He’s awful. He’s been awful all season. I have no idea how he went from hosting the sportscenter desk to doing PBP, they must have been short on people.
Ohhh, that's why he looked familiar. They probably were short then, and just figured they would toss him in.

Just two weeks? Try two months.
I had no idea the Canucks were even playing tonight.
Fair enough. I'm kind of an extreme fan, though. I've read a lot of articles to substitute for all the games I've missed....

Sportsnet is making it even harder to care right now. I wonder what's up with their feed

that's at least the third actual blatant kick in goal against the Canucks this season. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
I don't understand the rules, I guess. Why was that allowed? Is kicking not reviewable?

Like, after Green challenged GI and they saw it... why nothing?

The Pacific Division now has 3 of the top 7 teams in the league

Also without Pettersson the Canucks have a real shot at last place in the league. With him I'm worried they'll drive for 9th

So did we already know this about the Subban-Weber trade?
Uh, so John Chayka is running an NHL team and is constantly talking about chasing “competitive advantages” for his Coyotes but the company he created is selling his supposed advantage — information — to the competition?

I’d get more worked up about the apparent conflict of interest but there’s a legendary story about this company and it had to do with a report on the Weber and Subban trade.

As the story goes, the company had the deal close but gave the Weber side the edge and the Habs used it as their stats defence vs. their own analytics guy.

This is one of the great NHL stories. The Habs hired an analytics guy, Matt Pfeffer, then traded Subban for Weber, then fired Pfeffer for being against it and calling it a dumb trade.

What a world.
From the Athletic.

I heard from an acquaintance who has a wife working at Mayo about a current/former NHLer who was trying to come back to the NHL but had concussion issues and was going to Mayo in Rochester, MN to see some specialists and getting options. The player apparently came in on a semi-private Jet (idk what that even means), went all secret into Mayo, and saw the brain specialist several times over the span of two weeks, and was eventually suggested not to ever play again. This was back in November or December.

The guy I talked to said that it was all kept hush-hush and asked me not to say anything. He never told me the name but going by all the descriptors it pointed to Rick Nash. I know a lot of people assumed he wasnt gojng to come back, but yeah this news is not surprising at all.

Kudos to Nash for prioritizing his health and getting out (reasonably) healthy. It makes me furious to see the likes of Andrew Shaw get his eggs scrambled time and time again and still keep coming back for more. Even Crosby when he had his rough couple of years I strongly felt he should retire. I just dont see how it's worth it to continue on knowing you're one more bad hit away from compromising your long term quality of life.

Yep. Thats why I quit playing football after my freshman year in high school. Im only 5'7" and getting rocked every day by guys that had 100-150lbs on me just fucking sucked. I only got one concussion from playing football but I wasnt going to risk it for another 3 years.

Lmaooo sounds like a bitch ass.
Thats because Doughty is a bitch ass[/QUOTE]

Why did Era's alert system bring me here saying that you quoted me in this post? I have been summoned and I will not leave without either answers or a fight.

I'll be honest, Doughty's whiny "8 black!? Why did you give ME that?!" is exactly how I would sound, from the slightly too-high pitch to the child-like cadence of a shitheel kid caught obviously doing something wrong but still arguing that they shouldn't be punished.

James Not a Leafs fan Mirtle seems to have a hard on for other fans hating the Leafs, it's almost like a thin skin or something, kind of like a snake... oh my god, he's a fucking reptile.
