Weird. It would be nice if they would just do more sales like a normal company.
They're effectively doing a permanent sale where any game on that list gets 30% off if you buy another game. That includes some pre-orders, as is the case of SMM2.
I believe that's why they made the voucher good for 12 months. I imagine you'll find something you want to get within that timespan.
I mean, it's a discount for the eligible games. If the game that you want costs less than 50 then it's not discounted.
Those games have been cheaper for quite a while, they’re just added in here to boost the list. This shines because it lets you buy new games on the horizon which will mostly be $60.
Yeah, you're right. Sorry, a typo in my post made my intended message unclear. I probably won't be buying digital Nintendo games when there's a physical SKU until Switch 2 is a thing, so I'm hoping Nintendo keeps this idea around for a few more years.
Why on Earth would anyone use this on two games that are under $50 each?
It works with games that are already out, so I imagine you're good.
You didn't read the OP, did you?
Nope. Works with some upcoming games as well. I just wonder if they'll have it for Pokémon Sword and Shield?
The list will add on as the year goes on. All those games you mentioned will very likely be on the list. It’s likely only listing games that have known release dates.

There will probably be more, but games like Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem aren't available to pre-order yet in the eShop.
