What is Zoom?
Especially if you buy eshop cards when they are on sale which is pretty often. When you're factoring in the gold coins too, this really isn't a bad deal.
eh some people just look for excuses to shit on everything. there's no way to look at this as anything other than a good deal.People calling this a scam or lackluster are really reaching.
It's a discount on digital, I don't see other platforms or stores offering 20% off new digital titles.
Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing. Most of the others are games I'd rather have on physical media.Just realized this is excellent for buying Mario Maker 2 and Animal Crossing Switch, seeing as I'll be playing both daily for a looooong time and don't want to keep switching game carts.
Are you open to selling some codes at this price in the BST thread?best i got is work discount makes 2 $50 eshop cards for $85.50. But i generally dont see eshop cards on sale lately.

I read on some forums of my country that basically no one likes this discount. Well, this time I don't agree absolutely with them. I like physical boxes so I won't use these vouchers, but for people who 1) want to buy digital games and 2) want to buy them day-1 (e.g. Fire Emblem and Astral Chain), they are very good. basically it's as if they buy one game at full price, and the other only 40€. It would be impossible to get them digitally at this price (and also physically it is not easy).People calling this a scam or lackluster are really reaching.

Thanks. That website isn't loading for me, and I suspect it's only for people in NA. I'm in a weird situation where I'm based in the UK but have a US eShop account. You can buy $50 codes today for $42 via massgenie. Follow slickdeals or Wario64 and you can find 15 -20% e shop cards on an almost weekly basis.
But won't have any benefit if neither of the games you buy is expensive. You will have paid 100$ for two games of 50$ or less value...Because I don't want to 'have' to buy one of the expensive games (that's what it forces you to do right?) I want to buy any of the games instead.
I just think the website is currently having problems because it isn't loading for me either.Thanks. That website isn't loading for me, and I suspect it's only for people in NA. I'm in a weird situation where I'm based in the UK but have a US eShop account.
Once Animal Crossing is confirmed 100% on the list, ill get that and Mario Maker. Decent deal
I dont see Sony or MS giving back $60 worth of their online subscription....Yes, Nintendo is basically giving our NSO subscription money back, i can't see how this is a bad deal...
Only the base game is eligible for the deal? What stops a me from buying the $70 Mario Maker / NSO deal with one of the $50 vouchers?
it's essentially the gamble, 'will animal crossing release within a year'
With my gold coins I can get Ultimate alliance 3 & Fire emblem for 44€ each (instead of 60€). I'll take it.
The best part : you earn coins when you buy it :)
Oh! I didn't even think of gold coins! Thanks! I might use this for Astral Chain & Ultimate Marvel Alliance 3 after all.Not sure if I'm messing up my math here, but:
With the MyNintendo Gold coins you get with the purchase of the voucher (500 coins/$5) you're essentially paying $94.99 for two $60 games/$120.
That's 21%, which is as good as GCU
No, you don't get coins for the game but for the voucher. You earn coins when you buy the vouchers and again when you buy the games?
Not bad, that's another 10% right there
Well Zelda BOTW is priced £59.99 on the eshop, and I've brought mine on Amazon for £38 at launch, pre-ordered.
That's what I thought at first, but it seems you only get the coins when you buy the vouchers. You earn coins when you buy the vouchers and again when you buy the games?

It's always pretty weird when Nintendo offers a way to save on brand new digital games people seem to get really angry.
Noticed it with the announcement of gold coins which is 5% back on everything for everyone.
Now 16% off (21% when combined with MyNintendo Gold) is a scam.
Being in the US, I lap these sales up whenever I can and have been waiting for something like it ever since Nintendo mentioned a special offers program.
I only buy eShop credit when it's discounted so I save a ton on eShop games. At least 15% off most of the time. Now I'm getting like 30% off two games I'm getting day 1.
You buy them on the eShop like Nintendo Switch Online so you can use eShop credit. Is there Confirmation that you can use eshop credit on these? I saw someone say it looks like it but didn't see 100% confirmation
I dont see Sony or MS giving back $60 worth of their online subscription....
edit: NVM I forgot, 7 year old PS+ games will do the trick
