Captain Falcon's Space Adventures confirmed.
That it exists? It seems to be one of the strongest rumors we currently have.
I know it's not the exact situation of Metroid, I just think it would feel a bit strange for them to announce only a pikmin 3 port when miyamoto has been talking about pikmin 4 for years. Not that it would stop Nintendo from doing so, they do whatever they want. But I think announcing both together like MP4/Samus Returns would work well. Not really, people keep forgetting that Pikmin 4 was never officially announced, so they don't need to showit/announcedit alongside Pikmin 3 port.
Metroid Prime 4/Samus Returns situation was very different, they officaly announced MP4 because huge potential backlash because 3DS is getting Metroid game instead of Switch.
So if it's bigger than a Microsoft E3 conferenceI was talking about the other companies, not Nintendo. The other guys (except maybe Sony, who also has Paris Games Week and PSX) always put everything they've got into E3, whereas Nintendo distributes its announcements relatively evenly throughout the year, so no one Direct or E3 stream is too big.
Yep. (Ignore E3 2017 for Microsoft. That was kind of a sad year for them, Xbox One X launch aside.)
The eternal darkness stuff is probably nothing
Yeah I don't like when people ask if 2 and 3 are as good as one because saying they aren't kinda downplays them. They're still masterpieces imo, and better than most games I've ever played. The entire trilogy is definitely worth playing. I'd also say that although it has lower lows, Echoes has higher highs than 1.
What exactly did he say about Eternal Darkness 2? Or was it just in that tweet to get attention to his podcast?
About as sure as there will be a Direct next week.
He said that Denis Dyack wanted to do an Eternal Darkness 2 with Nintendo (who wasn't too keen on making it). So he pitched Eternal Darkness 2 to Nintendo in 2011 (he wanted to make it on the Wii U). After Silicon Knights went out of business and Dyack's teams disbanded, he tried to crowdfund it, and it didn't end up happening because they didn't make enough money. They looked for other publishers, but that didn't work out. Also, someone who Dyack worked with was arrested on child porn charges (I'm not joking)

Ah, nevermind. TIL

Maybe they'll say "Pikmin 4 is now in development" and give us a placeholder logo like how they revealed Metroid Prime 4.I think in this case they'll want to give Pikmin 3 a bit of chance before they announce the sequel, it could fill the Tropical Freeze slot from last year. They could always talk about the sequel later in the year if it's anywhere near ready.
The most notable thing Dyack has done since is get banned from Era.
Lol, do you remember why ?The most notable thing Dyack has done since is get banned from Era.
FORDyack claims he got third party funding for Shadows of the Eternal but I've been searching and no one, anywhere, will admit to funding it. They've since gone extremely quiet and not talked about it.

So that confirms the Direct for next week once and fir all? Or does it?!
He was in the past a vocal supporter for Gamergate
Pixelpar isn't exactly the one that is the most reliable or knows the most thing. So that confirms the Direct for next week once and fir all? Or does it?!
It was already confirmed when Zell teased it. Pixelpar means nothing after that.So that confirms the Direct for next week once and fir all? Or does it?!
Emily mentions PS2 titles returning to the Switch: I've specifically heard that DMCHD trilogy was currently being ported to the Switch, so there's that at least.
Pixelpar's is on the moderate end of reliability. Liam also said he heard that there's a Direct this week. The only thing we still need are otters, then basically every notable insider will have backed a Direct this week.So that confirms the Direct for next week once and fir all? Or does it?!
Well, I'm not even surprised that he was a gamergate supporter. He was in the past a vocal supporter for Gamergate
He was asked to explain and dissociate from it and instead he wrote a super long rant he asked Era admins to post for him; they didn't and banned the account.
...ew, that's....significantly worse than what I expected. He was in the past a vocal supporter for Gamergate

I think it was confirmed for this week once king zell stepped in.
Think bigger. Get those numbers upBTW: I think we will Hit 100 Pages before the Direct even begins, lol
- Final Fantasy VII shadow drop, available right after the Direct.
Alright, so here's my predictions, I'll probably change them a bit before the big day, but here's a rough idea of what I'm thinking. Not expecting any big first party surprises, just what we've heard.
45-55 minutes, I'm thinking this one will be a beefy Direct.

No-shows:
Platinum's new IP
Bayonetta 3
Mario Maker 2
Luigi's Mansion 3
Pokemon (of course)
Well I guess so, but now another "Insider" stepps in and posts a hint.
Dyack burnt many bridges so it's not surprising no one wants to fund anything with his name on it
So that confirms the Direct for next week once and fir all? Or does it?!
Just predict their game will be revealed this week like me. We're in the vast minority who thinks Retro's game will be revealed this week.I just want Retro's game. Announcing they were starting work immediately on MP4 without giving any hint of what else they've been doing was very frustrating.
I just want Animal Crossing footage. Pokémon Direct later cause I'm not expecting news here.
Same. I really hope we see Grand Prix on Wednesday.
Holy crap. Animal Crossing will be in the Direct? Did they mention any other games?PolarPanda (who has a friend at NoA), a member of a Discord group I'm in, mentioned that her friend told her that there will be AC news this week
