No, the Treehouse Live E3 events aren't Q&As, and aren't referred to as such.Just a question about terminology: also the traditional Treehouse during E3 is called QA? Or will these QAs just be sessions of questions, without showing any gameplay?
I think a Pokémon Direct is indeed the safest bet right now; remember:
The real question is why in Japan there isn't an event like this
I'm pumped for a Pokemon Direct! I'm kind of expecting something for classic games there too. Either give us Pokemon games via Switch Online, or announce that Gameboy Mini that has old games built in. Something!
it's pretty clear that we will get a smash direct in march/early april.
pokemon would be cool asap as i really want to see that game.
I think they would just release them separately on the eShop, they're not like other games and it would be easier to integrate them with Pokémon Bank later.
Have they ever done a Direct for a game that had already released? Please no more Smash lol

Smash 4 had a couple post release DLC directs.Have they ever done a Direct for a game that had already released? Please no more Smash lol
That would be really odd considering the fact the game might be already out or close to release then.Mario Maker Direct lol. Not sure why that game needs that. It'll be a star player at E3

E3 is mid June. By that time previews will be up and reviewers will have the game on their hands. It's too late to show it at the E3.Mario Maker Direct lol. Not sure why that game needs that. It'll be a star player at E3
It's not going to be out before E3. It will be out after E3. You take the opportunity of E3 to do the full reveal. Lots of eyes and media are there and people can play it.That would be really odd considering the fact the game might be already out or close to release then.
They could release the game June 28 which is two weeks after E3.E3 is mid June. By that time previews will be up and reviewers will have the game on their hands. It's too late to show it at the E3.

I shouldn't have said full reveal. The game won't be out before E3 and it won't get its own direct. They're not going to wait until the month of release to do a full reveal.
Not in the spotlight. It would be too late. They won't go radio silent on the game until E3. Arms got a dedicated Direct and 3s of footage on the E3 Direct.Mario Maker Direct lol. Not sure why that game needs that. It'll be a star player at E3
I think this too. Mid March at the latest. Most if not all Pokemon Directs have been around this time
But as I said, by that time previews should be up since many weeks before, reviewers will be playing the game already and so on. It's too late for a full reveal. At E3 we will probably just get some remainder and a championship. They could release the game June 28 which is two weeks after E3.
My point is I don't see it getting its own direct when it can be part of a general direct. Not in the spotlight. It would be too late. They won't go radio silent on the game until E3. Arms got a dedicated Direct and 3s of footage on the E3 Direct.
Historically June games are highlighted before E3, that's how marketing cycles work.
Have they ever done a Direct for a game that had already released? Please no more Smash lol
lol of course the speculation begins again less than a week after the last direct
Now we're going to get a lot of game specific Directs and no general/Mini Direct before E3...yeah no.
One time ok. I don't see Mario Maker getting its own direct.
Oh yeah, I agree ;)My point is I don't see it getting its own direct when it can be part of a general direct.
One was South Korea only.
