Of course not. Discord is a chatroom. People can spread the info outside of it. The easier solution is to just not say anything or leak the entire Direct.

What the heck everyone in there acting like it’s a good thing to put it to Discord then? Either way it seems like Sabi has made up his mind and will leak it.
I agree if you’re going to leak it then just put it out. If it’s on Discord it will still leak to everyone.
I’m just gonna stay off the Internet for a day or two before Nintendo’s Direct. It is what it is. I won’t be here until after Nintendo’s Direct ends.
Honestly... spoiling the Direct less than 24hrs in advance has no purpose beyond ego and clout. Sabi said on Twitter they want to leak the contents to prove they have reliable sources/info, so it isn't about giving to the community but instead about ego and reputation.
Yep. This is one instance where I would not be bothered if the leaker gets caught and or banned from working with Nintendo again
I mean even if Sabi isn't gonna leak it it sounds like a lot of people will be privy to whatever info is in the Direct, so it will probably get out there anyway.

Sabi sharing what they did actually narrowed down the source in which the information could originate.
Last year people knew what was in the Direct and nobody leaked it from what I remember. Liam told people to lower their expectations. I think Emily said the same too. King Zell might’ve hinted at a smaller Mario game coming.

I think Sabi is looking at leaking the Direct info a day early as a way to legitimize himself. Really hope he doesn't leak everything...

Sabi shouldn't have said that their source will know the contents of the Direct exactly one day before. I would think that Nintendo could easily find out which people would find out one day before and go from their to find the leaker. Sabi always gives away too much

I’m not sure about that tbh. Nintendo will undoubtedly have a great E3, but I don’t think it’ll be their best ever unless they announce like the next 3D Zelda game and another huge game.
Zelda is incredibly mainstream so I get your point but Nintendo has tons of other guns that are also hype and even mainstream.
I mean Nintendo will likely have the broader lineup and more games coming out this year plus they have multiple flagpole games and a hype Marvel game of their own that scopes the entire marvel universe instead of a single team. Plus they always have surprises in store

Yep they have Avengers and FFVIIR they’ll be showing. I don’t think they’ve shown games that huge before. The Collection of Mana looks like it’s coming. Some more KH3 info I expect. Last years Square Presentation was weak.
I’m not comparing Square to other companies. I’m saying in Squares history. Square had a E3 Direct last year and they had one in 2015. They might’ve had another one before that. For Square this will be their best E3 Presentation compared to their presentations of the past.

I'm staying at my parents' place for the summer and you just reminded me that we still have my sister's copy of the game plus the dance pad hanging around, and I just so happened to bring my backwards compatible Wii.....
I have an idea about how I'll go about sharing it, so that people can't screenshot it convincingly and spread it around. I obviously want to share to the people that want it (and I will, of course), but I want to do it in a way that people that don't want it will not. Obviously sticking to Discord for that is good at the very least. But that is my main concern -- not harming people who don't want to be spoiled. Since I'll only share VERY CLOSE to the direct anyways, i'll make it very hard for the stuff i tell friends to go public at all.

i really can't imagine how sharing the info on discord, no matter how private, won't lead to it being leaked everywhere. but i don't know, you have that power so you do you, it just sucks that you can't wait one day so everyone can enjoy the surprises together.
