I really like these monthly threads. They keep me better informed about sales and game releases than actual game websites like IGN.

I was tempted to include some 'suprise games' as Mother 3, Hollow Knight or Gamecube VC but I'm a good boy.

I had no idea the arcade version of Punch Out was on the eShop! Very cool!

I’ve got to spend my gold coin shit before some expires today. Debating what to get...

Like every month, thanks to tolkir for dedicating a lot of his personal time to create these eShop threads, plus the amazing work updating the releases every day.

This is currently one of the most impressive spaces covering the indie scene in internet, with an active and passionate community helping to put in the radar of the people a lot of fascinating titles that without efforts like this, have the risk of being ignored by the public.

But all of this is thanks to his hard work and dedication.

2064: Read Only Memories Integral looks good and is on my radar.
Not sure about that price though... anyone played it yet? I know its been out for a while now.

Super Daryl's weirdness is alluring. I'm not sure if it's actually fun to play though.

Masters of Anima is another game that I find interesting, but really need some hands-on impressions on.

Great work as always, tolkir.

I might check out Wild Guns Reloaded and South Park. I'm also happy to see Runbow coming to Switch this month.

My wallet might be safe this month.

Which is just as well, because May, June and July are going to be a bloodbath.

I think South Park is the only one for me this month. Might also check out Rogue Aces. Time to save the penies for the following 3 months.

Masters of Anima = Dark Fantasy Pikmin
If you have a Playstation Vita, you also have 'Army Corps of Hell'. It was directed by Yuichi Tanzawa, one of the original creators of 'Pikmin'.

It's other example of a 'Pikmin' game with a fantasy setting, and with a heavy metal soundtrack. One of the most weird Japanese games that deserves a lot more of love :)

'Masters of Anima' looks really impressive. But I will wait to read some reviews. With all of the crazy stuff in the screen, I'm a bit worried about performance. Specially because this is released the same day in Steam, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. These are a lot of different builds for a small development team. Let's see if they can make a release without serious problems and bugs in all of these different versions of the game.

Super Daryle Deluxe looks pretty damn cool, but to confirm, he's supposed to look just like Napoleon Dynamite right??

Biggest problem with Army Corps of Hell is that it's very repetitive very soon. Probably due to is a launch game.
Only you have to defeat enemies one after one on similar stages. The only changes are the methods to defeat those enemies.
It helps that you can play in short bursts on a handheld.

Nothing for me, but I haven't bought anything in the sale yet.

Any opinions on GoNNER? Was thinking about buying that and Blossom Tales.
'Gonner' is an absolute masterpiece in the roguelike genre, but it's also a super-hard, like really super-hard game, not joking here, it demands a lot of patience from the player plus the reflexes of a ninja.

Even with its difficulty, I can say that it's one of the essential indie titles in the last years thanks to its fascinating sound design and distinctive art style.

While it's a game that I personally love, it's also a moderate recommendation from my part. A lot of players will abandon the game in the first hour, due to its extreme level of challenge.

Yeah I can vouch for Gonner too, it's a fantastic roguelike platformer, but it's indeed quite hard, tough rarely unfair. It was my first blind eShop purchase and I loved it.

Seriously though, props to tolklr for the fantastic OP, this is the best yet! I'm excited for Penny Punching Princess and ROM myself.

Re: ROM 2064;

its a shame that it looks like the guy who ran midboss is a bad human being from many accounts.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.polygon.com/platform/amp/2018/3/26/17165310/midboss-chief-taking-leave-following-harassment-allegations

Unless I knew for sure the people who worked on the game(s) were being taken care of I am hesitant to give that company any money. Even if he is taking a leave it is his company and honestly I don’t want him seeing a penny of mine, especially sonce it looks like he screwed so many over who worked on their games.

Unless I knew for sure the people who worked on the game(s) were being taken care of I am hesitant to give that company any money. Even if he is taking a leave it is his company and honestly I don’t want him seeing a penny of mine, especially sonce it looks like he screwed so many over who worked on their games.
Oh yeah I definitely have this in mind too, it's complicated. I don't really want to support this guy, but on the other hand him stepping down and all makes me feel like I'd be supporting the rest of the people behind the game who may have nothing to do with any of that nonsense... Still not sure really.

Oh I remember that Urban Trial game on Vita. It was really solid. This must be a sequel. Looks nice! I may get it.

I played this in Steam, a terrible Japanese roguelike. Indeed, one of the worst that I have played in the last years.

We already have in Switch the vastly superior 'Dragon Fang Z', that is on par with the finest Chunsoft roguelikes. So good as the main entries of 'Shiren the Wanderer'.

It's still an interesting release, because not so many Japanese roguelikes are translated to English.

But after suffering this in its PC version, it's a game that I can only recommend to hardcore collectors of Japanese roguelikes.

Not seeing much I want, which is probably a good thing. Still have some stuff to catch up on and I'll probably get GoW. Hard to want to play anything with the stupid amount of overtime I've been getting.

If I may, I wrote a couple reviews of eShop games released last month if anyone is up for my thoughts on them:

Toki Tori 2+ (7.5/10):

Tuesday can't get here quick enough, I really want to play Penny Punching Princess
I guess I can post my review of Penny-Punching Princess as well even if it's not an eShop game like the others.
