Man, this game is nuts. Mechstermination, Katana Zero, Steamworld Quest, My Time at Portia... Ringo Ishikawa looks like a neat Kunio inspired game too. And of course an opportunity to double dip on Dragon's Dogma and the GOAT, Cuphead.
Anyone try MetalGal? Looks like a fun Mega Man-like game.
Was wondering the same.

- SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech
- Katana Zero

A few posts earlier you have an extended impressions.
Apologies! I tend to assume most first page posts on these threads are gonna be about upcoming games and I had used the search function recently with only one result from myself lol. Sounds pretty alright tho; I think I'll get it, but thanks for pointing it out.

In addition to Ace Attorney and Dragon's Dogma, I've got my eye on Lost King's Lullaby. It's a roguelite RPG priced at only $10, and look at this art direction:

lGx3q0REPbXFPo5soX3utxK7Ri8mKgcr.jpg

Definitely keeping an eye out for reviews. Seems to be console exclusive on Switch, with a Steam release coming, too.

I have no idea what's going on in the trailer's combat, but the game is really cool looking. On my radar now, thanks!

This looks beautiful but Roguelikes are an automatic turn off for me. I can live with procedural generation but definitely not permadeath.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to wait for some other month to buy Cuphead since I already have it on PC. My money is going to other games that probably need it more like Mechstermination Force, Katana ZERO and SteamWorld Quest.

Give me that sweet, sweet Ace Attorney. It's like the world was against me importing that damn game.

This looks awesome, now I'm interested.
There are also some in the March thread.
You're right. Turns out I thought the game was called "Metalgal", so no wonder I wasn't seeing any results. Oops.

When I was typing my post I put "Metalgal" until I noticed that wasn't the right name. Apparently I should've kept the typo for better visibility!

There's a boatload of games I will eventually buy coming out in April but almost none of it is day one material for me.

Definitely in for FFXII. Possibly for Steamworld Quest and half a dozen others depending on time and reviews.

This month is absolutely silly. I'm gonna need to wait for sales on a lot of these, but sure pickups are Katana Zero and Steamworld Quest

The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa
Cuphead
Our World Has Ended
SteamWorld Quest
and the Bad Girl DLC finally comes out for Travis Strikes Again!

Really interested in Golf Peaks and The World Next Door, but I've barely touched Gain Ground. I've barely played anything because i keep messing around with Puyo Puyo (Guessing that comes out in the west this month too?)

I have been with a terrible cold and fever the last week, so I haven't have too many time to play or post in ERA.

But there are a few things that I need to say.

Thanks as always to tolkir for the amazing work in these threads.

'METAGAL' has a superb level design. And it's like playing an official 'Mega Man X' entry created for the Sega Mega Drive hardware, putting the 68000 HEART ON FIRE! with its gorgeous parallax scroll effects.

And 'Yoshi's Crafted World' is the greatest Nintendo game released since 'Breath of the Wild'. A masterpiece in level design that never ceases to impress with its creativity.

And its music is lovely and adorable.

I tell myself I'll limit April to Cuphead and SteamWorld Quest, which were always going to be top priorities for me, but in practice we'll see how that goes. Baba Is You ambushed me out of nowhere this month; forty hours, gone, just like that. Luckily this thread is here for me to experience everything else vicariously.

The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa looks kinda interesting. Kunio-kun RPG or something. Wonder if it's actually good.

What a ridiculous month! Definitely picking up Mechstermination Force, Cuphead, Katana Zero, SteamWorld Quest, and BoxBoy+BoxGirl. And of course I'll need to replay Ace Attorney on Switch.

Why did everyone and their mother decide to release in April!?

In for The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa! Maybe Hob and definitely one of the Final Fantasties. On the fence about Our World Is Ended. I like visual novels, just not sure if this one is for me.

Got an early copy of Dragon Ball Super Heroes in and, so far, it's pretty darn entertaining, although I'm not sure if this is because of the gameplay or the constant Gatcha satisfaction.

Looking at the release table, I am kind of glad that my Switch won't be with me very soon. The amount of interesting titles is nuts.

I've already pre-purchased Katana Zero & Cuphead, but...I'm still playing New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe. I love that game, it's incredible!!

I hope 'The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa' turns out good.

Playing Galak Z-The Void and the game has massive crashes. I'm not able to finish the first phase because of it. I will try it again later but I guess this needs a Patch asap.

Definitely getting Steamworld Quest, FFX and FFXII. MK11 is going to come down to image quality, otherwise I'm getting it on PC.

I need to finish Tales of Vesperia before FFX comes out. :\ I am not even half way through....

From what I can gather, May is looking quiet on both the retail and indie game front, so at least we can carry some of the April games over.

Of course I'll be eating my words as soon as the May thread goes up..

Cuphead, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Mortal Kombat 11, and Dragon's Dogma for me. Now I just need some free time to play all of these...
