My god there are so many things I want right now. Anyone want to talk about any of the following?
Gunbird 2
Graceful Explosion Machine
Overwhelm
Strikers 1945 2
Unexplored
or any other vertical shooter, haha
I have to admit I'm hungry for a vert shooter other than Ikaruga and I've never played a Psykio game except for the first Strikers, and that was a long time ago. At the same time, GEM looks awesome and is half off and Overwhelm looks pretty damn sweet. Ugh.
And then SteamWorld later this month. Holy cow.
And for those worried about the difficulty of the game, in this version there is a new assist mode.
It's got great Steam reviews.Has anyone picked up The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa? Very interested. Need to know if it's worth the cost.

BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! |OT| THEY'RE BOTH SO CRATE, I CAN'T CONTAIN MYSELF!
*gets pelted by tomatoes*
So does Mech Force just a boss rush like Cuphead or levels too?
How does it compare with Bleed 2?
Thanks a ton all for the kind birthday greetings! Jealous y'all are getting to play Yoshi but very much enjoying Australia. Hoping to see some real life penguins in Bicheno tonight. Maybe there will be a few Bumptys in the lot?
Also, my Compass Rose (worldwide plug adaptor) doesn't include a power source thingie so I need to get myself an Aussie 3DS cord, hopefully in a few days at a Melbourne shop.
We've been seeing lots of cute animals though, we went to a Tasmanian Devil refuge and a general wildlife refuge. Between those we've got to see up close Wombats, a Ring-Tailed Possum, Sugar Gliders, Pademelons (plus several outside an AirBNB we stayed at), tons of Kangaroos, Echidnas (I told the tour guide about Knuckles, I know you will be proud Baladium), a Koala and more. We got to pet and feed many of these critters. So many of them were animals we'd barely seen before in real life so it felt kind of like discovering new Pokémon.
In fact traveling around Tasmania in particular has really been reminding me of exploring Hyrule in BOTW, but I plan to expand on that in another post with pictorial comparisons and such.
That's hilarious. I love this. I really hope you use it CaptainK , thanks so much for making the OT!
HUGE BOLD LETTERS: Mechstermination Force is NOT a run'n'gun game!!! It's boss fights only!!I was kinda interested in Mechstermination Force because I love run 'n guns and Bleed proved that good ones don't have to look great, but hearing it's the Gunman Clive dev turned me off a little. I thought GC was very mediocre. I'll probably just replay Cuphead instead.
Heads up for anyone who's interested in Way of the Passive Fist and has access to a computer: The game releases next week on Switch for $14.99, but is currently on sale for 90% off on Steam???
I bought it myself, looked great. But think I already experienced a bug. The game just stopped responding to inputs but it wasn't frozen. Very early on luckily but it got me annoyed . Maybe I need to reboot my SwitchNever heard about The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa until today. Then I watched the trailer and then a couple of videos on YouTube now I'm completely sold.
Darn you Switch! Darn you!
Can anyone recommend me a game to buy? Specifics:
And I already have Hallow Knight. Thanks.
- Under 20$
- Lasts a while (more than at least 6 hours preferably)
- lots of replay value
- No rogue-lites
The Switch port of 'OVERWHELM' is bananas.
It runs at 60 FPS, the game looks gorgeous in the Switch LCD screen (one of the best-looking games in my entire library, if you ask me) and it has HD rumble.
They have included an exclusive new 2 co-op players mode.
And for those worried about the difficulty of the game, in this version there is a new assist mode. In which you can select things like infinite lives, instead of the punishing three lives system.
And THAT sound design, holy cow. It's in a 'Hotline Miami' tier of awesomeness.
One of the best indie games that you will play in 2019.

At the risk of giving this game more undue attention... have we reached a new low for Switch icons?
Because that would be a new low for Switch icons. lol
Awesome! Seriously looking to grab this Day 1 despite my backlog. Do we know what other Konami games will be coming from Hamster?Konami Arcade Archives coming to Switch from Hamster starting with Time Pilot on April 11.

ZELDA BOTW: hints/help/opinions wanted!
Hey guys I want to pick up Zelda again.
I loved my time with it, up until I could give it the due attention/time and it's the only game with Overcooked 2 and Mario Party that I played docked.
This time it'll be 95% handheld play tho.
I stopped playing when inside that sand-giraffe beast that you need to get into, I think I was stuck on some puzzle inside the beast just before fighting its Ganon form (iirc)?
Anyway my problem with this awesome game was that I don't have many chances to play a game for 2 hours sessions and when I played for 30 minutes I felt I could waste all that time just cooking and not accomplish anything, so I usually went back to my arcade games or story games with minimal gameplay before sleep.
My issue is that I hate the cooking part, I'd probably would have liked it much more if it was super snappy and with touch screen enabled inventory and such. Not for me.
And that I'm at my 3rd beasts and basically got no armor/sets besides the ones you get for story quests. So the cool shit I see from other people's play throughs? I have none.
A few upgrades from the fairies, yeah.
I'd love a few hints and to know why some people suggested I should grab the DLC now? Some said it makes you enjoy the game more and it's actually better if you aren't playing the endgame yet.
Why is that?
And can I use the bike to go around?
Thanks!
Edit: maybe I should've posted this in the OT, apologies
bruh just relax and accept the glory that is safety first
Also it can't possibly be a new low since it at least has the title in the icon.
Not a great fan of the gross concept of pissing, but outside of this, the game and the mechanics looks bananas.
As a fan of 'Crazy Climber' I'm impressed with the videos.
I will probably pick this while it's still discounted, and you will be the main responsable :)
I'm not sure I can take an Epilexia essay about how incredible Safety First is. Though it would have been an incredible April Fools post.

Same reason there is an incoherent orange gibbon in the White House: the universe does not have to make sense.

do we know how much this will cost?
"Nintendo eShop | April 2019 | The Thirst for Safety First!"
On the subject of unsavory games, Senran Kagura: Peach Ball is bouncing out of Japan and straight into our shameful Western hearts this summer. Physical/digital in NA, digital-only in Europe.
I have nothing else to add, so here's one of the girls dressed as a... yeah...
was it ever announced? I mean to some it may seem like a no brained but that costs money that could be used for new/other games being developed. Why do we think it's taking Devolver so long to bring Hotline Miami to Switch? I thought for sure it would have been released by niw
Funny, I was just think earlier today "how is the Switch nearly two years old and we don't have Spelunky?"Why do we think it's taking Devolver so long to bring Hotline Miami to Switch? I thought for sure it would have been released by niw

I'm annoyed at how much that (kinda bad looking) Dragon Ball game is.
And I'm extra annoyed because I'm struggling not to buy it.
Enter the Gungeon is $7.49. Worth?
