I got Miniature on sale for $1 or so, it is okay. Basically put 5 scenes in order chronologically.

SaGa Scarlet Grace is only $30, so the digital-only Western release is half of what it came out for last year in Japan.

I have my eye on Star Ocean but considering I just bought Till the End of Time and the Last Hope on PS4, it may have to wait till later next year.

I did not know Work x Work had been renamed to Heroland and, on top of it, it's coming out next tuesday! Damn, too many Mother 3 vibes to ignore, I hope it's not very expensive.

Does anyone know what's going on with Star Ocean First Departure R? The game comes out in 5 days and still isn't up on the eShop for whatever reason.

My buy list this month:

Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition
Alien Isolation
Assassin's Creed Rebel Collection
Star Ocean First Departure R
Call of Juarez Gunslinger
Blacksad
Ashen

This month is much better than last month interns of amount of quality releases. Or than next month. January is really lacking games too. Nothing but Tokyo Mirage Sessions (which I'm not planning to re-play) and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. I hope someone announce some games by then.

Dare I dream of Shovel Knight DLC not getting delayed (again)? As that would make my month easily. Cannot wait.

It'll be a cool banner if nothing greater is announced for next month.
I also saw this for One Finger Death Punch 2, but it could still happen for the month

But aside from being a bad news pineapple, I am hyped for Heroland and I'm waiting to hear feedback on Blacksad.

I bought a lot of things during the Black Friday sale and this month looks like I'll get to play most of them while waiting for a Christmas sale.

UPDATE: I got a speedy reply from the publisher: It happens when the game is installed on an SD card. The workaround is to remove the SD card and redownload the game to the Switch's built-in storage. The game runs fine now. Original post follows:

Did anyone else buy Vegas Party in the eShop? Does it run? All I get is a black screen. I've left it for several minutes just in case it has the loading time from hell but it never changes. It does create a save file. That's the only sign of life.

Kaminazo page says that it has English language. It could have a Western release soon.
Flowers'll be harder because it's a big VN. If it comes, we'll have to wait one year at least.

...What? lol.

Weird assumption that doesn't seem related to my post at all.
You not knowing Ashen which was a huge indie game last year on xbox and pc leads me to believe you mainly focus on Nintendo.

Again, it's always weird to me when people on a gaming forum as big as this say they dont know these popular games because they aren't on their system is all. I did say no offense :p

It's a new thread!

Ended up finally buying that Fishing Star World Tour game, it's on sale (EU) at the moment.
I then played it for so long my pro controller ran out of batteries, I guess I really needed a fishing game. During this time I caught "perfect" kelp...

I wish there was more music in it though. I love saxophone, but that same damn song every time you hook a fish?

Ashen was not that big lol

I can easily imagine people who own an Xbox or PC not hearing about it

Probably will just wait & see what holiday sales will happen. Got like 6 games via Black Friday & PSN/eShop sales, so I'm pretty set until I can replay Tokyo Mirage Sessions in January.

I mean, you're wrong, since I own PC/PS4/Switch, but you do you with the unwarranted assumptions. It happens that I was less interested in Soulslike games last year than I am this year, and I guess it fell through my radar.

What's weird -- no offense -- is you coming into an eShop thread to accost people under the pretense that they only play Switch (which wouldn't be terribly weird anyway, given its handheld nature).

Was tempted to get Starlink digitally (I don't want to have to scan in the physical Arwing every week) with the Black Friday deal but I think Ubisoft can mark it down even lower than that next year

I didnt intend to accost anyone and I apologize. I really meant no offense, its just something I notice on any community driven thread and I always find weird, it's not a switch thing or a "you" thing. But again, you are clearly bothered by it and I apologize, it's my bad.

In Black Friday weekend news, Link's Awakening is 42.99€ on IG until monday for the EU crowd.

I haven’t fired my Switch up in a while, but I’d like to find something cool to play. Ideally I like story-driven brawlers or twin stick shooters. Some of my favorites across platforms are: Renegade Ops, Alienation, Dead Nation, Grinding Gears, Viking Quest, and even something like Sacred Citadel. I have a few games on Switch like Neon Chrome (liked it), Tesla Vs Lovecraft (liked it), Neon Voider (not my favorite), Isaac (it’s okay), Jydge (meh), Neon Chrome (liked it).

I’m sure I’m missing lots of good games, local co-op would be ideal. Would anyone have any suggestions to share? Bonus points if it’s on sale!

And just like that I played 3 hours straight of overwatch on switch and I'm loving it. I dropped off from the ps4 version a while ago so there's a ton of characters and stages I know nothing about but it's super fun either way. Really glad I bought it, specially so cheap (15€), I'll probably get my money's worth in just a couple of weeks lol

Assault Android Cactus+ is what you're looking for. Great game, 60 fps with co-op.

I guess Star Ocean is it this month. Guess I'll get to work on my backlog, especially after a big Black Friday haul.

Heroland looks fun, but it looks pricey at $40.

What did you get? I'm on the fence considering getting one of a few things:
- GRIS,
- Castlevania Collection (doesn't include SoTN and already have a SNES mini),
- DK adventure in Mario+Rabbids,
maybe - Ori (but I have a few unbeaten platforming metroidvanias already, maybe should wait to beat those)
