Has there been any impressions on Dragon Quest Builders 2 with regards to performance? I believe the demo had some framerate issues so wondering if they've been sorted for full release.

Yeah, a quarter of my wishlist just went on sale, including RE4, Mark of the Ninja, Halcyon and Baba is You. And I just pre-purchased Streets of Rogue for tonight, too.

Ninja was an instant purchase - it's the first time it's on sale at all for the EU (for some reason the US got a sale last year but we didn't) - RE4 can wait, as no doubt that will get a larger sale around Halloween.

That's about right for the RE games, only £4 more expensive than what they are on PS/Xbox. And not even 2 months after launch. Somehow I don't think they sold quite as well as people justifying the price hike said they definitely would. I'll happily use my £16 worth of Gold Points on Remake here so I only pay £4 for it and along with the £30 I paid for RE4 that's £34 which is not much more than they cost on other platforms combined. Because screw Capcom and their apologists.

If you mean Assassin's Creed 3, I wouldn't get it unless you absolutely loved the game back in the day. The Switch version isn't the best it could be and the game itself hasn't aged very well despite the "re-master".

Oh wow Quest Hunter is releasing on Switch.
I bought this game YEARS ago on Steam when it launched Early Access because I love top down adventure RPGs. I then watched the game barely get updated for years, sure it was abandoned by the devs, then some months ago they magically updated the game and released out of EA.

Naturally I was excited to play the final game! Welp, this game fucking sucks.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM QUEST HUNTER!!!!

Sure it looks good and sounds fun but this is a shambling mess of ideas thrown together to make a "game". the graphics, which were part of my initial appeal, are not good. Actually playing on PC everything looked flat with the lighting and the geometry of everything just screams....cheap? Everything seems haphazardly thrown together:

-graphics are super underwhelming when actually playing
-music is forgettable
-story is laughably bad and amateur hour, with a poor translation and lots of awkward and short phrasing.
-gameplay is UNFUN. the combat lacks any feedback so the only way to know you got hit or are dying is to look at your health bar which is a death sentence with this game's combat.
-dungeons are a complete joke. Tiny with few ultra simple puzzles and a couple enemies but like 5 minutes long or less.
-world design is boring as shit and uninspired

I could go on and on, but don't be like me!
Don't buy this on how it looks and sounds. I feel fleeced by the developers and view this steaming turd as a blatant cash grab with minimal effort put in to make an actual game.

I give Quest Hunter a 2/10 and I'm not even sure what those 2 points are for. You have been warned!!!

Picked up The Messenger (free DLC is out btw), Night in the Woods and Valkyria Chronicles (skipped it a few months ago and regretted it) so far.

Had a lot more stuff in the list (well still do) but ive been trimming it down googling the various games and unfortunately the phrase "switch performance / technicall issues" keeps coming up amd its a bummer. Granted the overall reviews themselves are also not great (adventure time game for example) but still, its an unfortunate recurrence :(

Well the complete edition for 50 is out, but vanilla is still 60 (making it more than the complete edition lol), except its on sale 50% off right now... for 30, except it should be 15 obviously.

Amazing. It looks great on the Switch and it's worth £20 definitely. Just bear in mind that they are GBA games originally and particularly the first game kinda doesn't have a lot of depth.
