Shovel knight is on sale right now and has been getting lots of love. Celeste is a great platformer of that is what you are looking for.

Looking back at all those May games. There are just too many awesome looking games and never enough time.

If Nintendo announces a cheaper more portable only Switch I am buying that shit for my kids so I can our OG switch more haha

Thanks for the recommendations, but I should've added I already have Sonic Mania Plus, Shovel Knight, and every Mega Man collection plus some more of the more well known games. These were released earlier this year without much fanfare (or at least very short-lived fanfare) and I found all of them to be excellent in their own ways and well worth their price and then some. No Metroidvanias or roguelikes here.

So in the Devolver Digital sale I bought Ape Out, Gris, Red Strings Club, Katana Zero, Pikuniku and I also picked up Gato Roboto with the launch sale.

Devolver put out excellent games but they were all slightly too hight for me at launch but super happy with most of price drops.
