Do we know if Groove Coaster will be released WW?
Not yet, no. We did get one of the mobile versions with a toooon of DLC & I noticed a few songs that're part of the game are also in Taiko Drum Master between the PS4 & Switch versions, so there is a chance they can get the licensing worked out. Thankfully, despite the hurdle of having to buy it from the JPN eShop, the menus are completely translated, which might be a sign it could be coming over?

Is it too much to ask for Reisuke Ishida's other masterpiece on Switch? Space Invaders Infinity Gene?

I really enjoyed how the controls felt on the New Super Lucky's Tale demo. Wish the game was 60fps, but at least it feels tight and responsive, and the visuals are pretty good.

I think I'm going to buy the game physically tomorrow. It will be at Walmart for ~$33, so it's hard to say no to that.
Is this an in-store deal only, or can you order for that price online? That sounds really good, I might have to jump on that.

What was the problem with HM? Just bought it (for the 4th time...) at discount and didn't notice nothing so far..

Supposedly there were some bugs that caused enemies to spawn outside the actual level on occasion, making it impossible to win without restarting. I know there were patches to address that and some other issues but I'm not sure what the consensus was months later.

Based on co-op but is there any solo content ? Like, each character is one stick...
Right so you start the adventure and at anytime you can change between multiplayer and single player.

Single Player: Control both medics with one controller. The blue medic is controlled with the left side of the controller and the red medic with the right side of the controller.

Multiplayer: One player each controls a medic.

It's crazy at first in single player, controlling both characters with both the left and right control stick.

Mmmh thanks for the report ! As a single player it could be fun, depending on how hard it goes...

I'm on holiday at the moment in the US with my UK switch. If I bought a game over here, will it work on my Switch?

I know the consoles are region free, but just wanted to be sure.

Did anyone buy the new Layton game? Keen to know any impressions

I've always wanted to get into it, could be my first foray into the series. Is the film worth watching?

I'm about to start Torchlight II - and I'm just looking for a teensy bit of advice.

I've seen people on various sites complain about how the game doesn't allow you to roll back stats once you've chosen a build (or however you want to put it) - should I be using the internet to make a cool build? Or is this game better if I go in blind and just play it, potential mistakes and all?

I played it on the 3DS earlier in the year, I'd rank it lowest of the ones I've played, story wasn't very good and too many of the puzzles are stupid "gotcha's" rather than legitimate puzzles to solve.

Ah right, didn't realise it was out on 3DS earlier. I'll still tempted but will probably wait until after SW: Fallen Order

So I just tried the Super Lucky's Tale demo, and I'm impressed. What a super upbeat and fun platformer. The engine chugs a bit here and there, and the load times aren't great, but it was such a jolly experience, and the music on the demo stage was catchy as hell.

Has anyone here played it? Does the quality hold up throughout the game?

New Super Lucky Tale looks so cute. I need to resist
Having recently played Spyro for the first time, I am in a 3D platforming mood

Dang, because of this thread last night I picked up...
Stay Cool, Kobayashi-San (I'm a fiend for Kunio and after nobody provided impressions I figured I'd do it myself. Plus the original designers of Renegade and RCR uniting to make a new game? COME ON)
Monkey Barrels (GOOD FEEL makes me FEEL GOOD)

Groove Coaster (was surprised at the high price + no physical release. Hope I don't regret not waiting as I have a strong preference for the tangible)

And now...
The Stretchers!

Any brave soul who bought The Stretchers for single-player? Is it worth playing if you don't have a local co-op buddy?

This is interesting, mainly just because I don't think any other game that I know of has implemented this, but apparently Divinity: Original Sin 2 now supports the friend invites.

Forum Post detailing new update

I wonder how seamless it is, and honestly it would be great if Nintendo would update some of their previous game to support it. (Splatoon 2, Mario Maker 2, Mario Kart 8D, Smash Ultimate)

Edit: Already a thread on it here

I don't know where else to ask this, but has anyone else ever had any issues finding Wi-Fi with their Switch?

At the moment I'm on holiday and there's Wi-Fi in this villa (which my phone has found), but my Switch will not find it everytime I look, but it easily finds around 10 other wireless points around this villa, including all the neighbours near me.

Has anyone here played it? Does the quality hold up throughout the game?

Here are my impressions of the original Super Lucky's Tale if it's helpful:

We played through the first game on Game Pass a little over a year ago and enjoyed it a lot, it felt like a spiritual successor to both early 3D collection platforming and platforming-focused Crash Bandicoot-type gameplay. We got the DLC earlier this year and enjoyed it just as much if not more than the main game, and it presented considerably more challenge. So I'm curious if that content is included in the Switch version.

I know a lot has been done to the camera and gameplay in this version, and it sounds like it's only improvements which would make it an easy recommend for me as the original game was a lot of fun. As to replaying it just yet, I'll just be interested to know the exact changes, but some time I will definitely want to play this version.

I first got interested in the game but cause it was made in part by one of the Donkey Kong Country Returns level designers, and I felt like that showed through in some of the more platforming-focused levels (they are two very different games, though).

Thanks. I've got Luigi's Mansion 3, Astral Chain and Zelda: LA still to finish, but Super Lucky's Tale is definitely going to be purchased in the near future.

Football game is a short cool point and click that is worth playing. The developer's other game Sumatra is one of top games of the year, so I recommend supporting them if you're interested.

Anyone else play Glass Masquerade? It's been on sale a few times, but I finally bought it. It says there's only the 25 countries from the base game. It's a nice game, but that's not going to take me long to finish. Is there any plans to include the DLC from the PC version?

Looking for impressions on the following.

Tangle Tower
Tangle Tower is murder mystery whodunnit puzzle adventure game in the vein of Professor Layton. The writing is great, the characters awesome and funny and the overall plot interesting.

The most striking thing for me is its presentation. It's fully voiced and the animations are phenomenal. I'm typically not a fan of the Layton games because I feel like it becomes more about the puzzles than the story but Tangle Tower isn't like that since the story is first and foremost and the puzzles secondary. So yeah, if a Layton-like with interesting puzzles and even better characters sounds interesting to you, give it a go. I haven't finished it yet (about to wrap it up) but it's definitely one of my favorites games of the year.
