I'm still gonna say that Mario Maker 2 will end up at 9-11 mil and Link's Awakening at 6-8 mil. Though it's looking like LA might be more on the higher end and MM2 possibly in the lower end.

Very strong debut for Link's Awakening. BOTW is real, onwards to 7M+!

SMM2 comments seem strange to me. It's done almost 4M already (almost outsold its WiiU predecessor), before a holiday has come around. It'll be at or above 6M after next quarter, which is big any way you look at it I'd say.
Perhaps some people thought this would perform as a 2d Mario (I've seen the sentiment elsewhere)? It's not, though, it's a level maker first and 2d platformer second. It shouldn't be judged on the same scale as a 2d Mario.

Oh yeah do they say how much the Switch Lite sold separately and did they reach their targets sales for Switch in general?
The Lite model sold 1.9 millions, but they only report the sales at the end of September, that's mean they sold those numbers in just 9 days, same as Link's Awakening. Their Target is 18 millions Switch this Fiscal Year.

Great numbers, need to know how Astrail Chain did tho.

Can't help but feel that the timing of NSMBUDX took some wind out of MM2's sail.

Good to see Three Houses doing so well. I really enjoyed that game and I was surprised at how complete it was and how much fun I ended up having. I'm one of those voucher people too. : P

I know wikipedia is a unreadable source, but 15.71 million units would make ultimate the best selling fighting game ever.

SMM2 and FE3H Japan sales were at 644k and 250k respectively on the week ending September 29. Total Japanese shipments are at 880k and 480k. Basically confirming what we already knew, big digital share

Digital Software sales at 36.2% seems pretty nice for Nintendo, even if it isnt in the 50%+ like Ubi and EA and co.

Solid 10% more than last year shows decent growth at least.

We'll see. What I've heard hasn't been terribly encouraging and WoM dropped off a cliff compared to Wii U. Maybe updates can breathe new life into it

I could go for some added in Amiibo support and a couple of additional visual themes being added (or perhaps just one totally new art style). I'd be pretty pleased with that.

On another note, safe to say that as of some day in October, 42 million Nintendo Switch units shipped and that's awesome!

At the current pace, Nintendo Switch will pass the total software units sold for 3DS (380.72M, although still selling), SNES (379.06M) and GBA (377.42M) in about a year.

Don't be so hasty about the Astral Chain doom and gloom, it wasn't going to ship a million in a month. Wait until the end of the FY.

any one calculated the differences of the top 10 games with the last numbers to see how much they sold in this quarter?

Even the most optimistic predictions back in early 2017 were way off heh.

Now bring on Pokémon and attractive Black Friday/Christmas bundles and we will be at 50m units by end of 2019.
