Pretty good in my opinion, if a bit unpolished. One of those games we don't see too often from Nintendo (tbh, given some of the content we don't see it from most developers). Hope you enjoy it if you ever get around to it.
Either way, it was before it was announced as Metroid Dread. I didn't think there was the slightest chance the name would actually be Metroid Dread so the name became a bit more apt than I thought at first.
I actually opened the doc for the Alan Wake rating and it says "Cartridge" + "Download" in the request

Oh wow, that's pretty much a giveaway then. Seems like they might actually just announce the Switch version on their own in a Direct like with Life is Strange, or it might also just be a late port. Very cool to see though!

However, we can rule out a Direct airing on Wednesday, or rather a general Direct airing on Wednesday, because the airing time would be 07:00 am of Thursday in Japan

I'm betting on Thursday. It would be Friday in Japan and the announcement the day before. I think someone pointed out a situation earlier when a Direct was announced on a japanese holiday.
A general Direct airing on Thursday for us would air at 07:00 am of Friday in Japan.

Well, I was specifically talking about general Directs. Obviously the situation would change if it were a Direct Mini.
EDIT: And to be frank, I definitely don't exclude the possibility of a Direct Mini taking place rather than a general one.
So far that's been the case in the Switch era at the very least, going by memory.
The E3 Direct usually airs at 09:00 PST / 12:00 EST / 18:00 CEST / 01:00 JST, but it's an exception due to being part of E3; I wouldn't take those events into consideration in analysing the airing times of general Directs.
