Our own Nate Drake thought that maybe Sabi got this info through not so legal means so maybe that has something to do with it

I don't believe anything this Twitter account says. Even this. Seems like an excuse not to get anything wrong.
Kind of terrifying they can find your name/address with a little investigation and send a lawyer. Assuming their account isnt made with their personal info there on display for twitter to share.

That's my question too, I don't remember seeing crazy Nintendo rumors recently. At least not Animal Crossing stuff :/
That's the thing. If they're getting their information through a certain mean, they absolutely can file a C&D, and it's on Sabi for being reckless.
Its not petty if the leak is what some of us think it is.
This has been brazen stupidity for 15 minutes of fame.
Leaks ruined a good chunk of the buzz this E3. Not surprised at all these people are getting the hammer.
They called a TON of stuff revealed today, Sabi has been reliable in the past as well.
Although I am one of the most guilty looking at leaks out of curiousity, I am happy they caught him/her.

Sucks but I can kinda get it. Nintendo tries to run a tight-ass ship, and Sabi's been absolutely on fire so far. It's not surprising that they got real nervous real quick.

So lets get a quick rundown of the Sabi situation and this leak(s) that are supposed to go down
-Tells everyone when they will get their info
-Pinned tweet about where they share the info from their sources
-Mentioning other ppl's namse that have similar info
-Discord where leaks are supposed to go down is all in the social media profile too

Because you can't go after someone for spoiling your surprise unless they specifically agreed not to in the first place.
Guessing sabi is not getting the info through legitimate reporting. So probably in some legal jeopardy.
