If it docks, it's still a Switch.
That looks terrible.
I disagree. The current Switch doesn't even have a Dpad. The Analog sticks are still analog sticks and not circle pads, should be fine considering their size.
I wouldn't be able to play 1 2 Switch or Labo on this though is I can't detach the Joycons.

Don't you need them to play Arms or 12 Switch?Did you think a Switch Mini would have joycons? They start to become pointless if they are too tiny.
You can play ARMS with standard controls, and no motion.
I could see Nintendo letting you sync controllers to this for games that need it.I wouldn't be able to play 1 2 Switch or Labo on this though is I can't detach the Joycons.
Or Labo ( without out purchasing separate joycons of course). You can play ARMS with standard controls, and no motion.
Not 1-2 Switch.
I feel like the Switch screen is already too small for games like Bayonetta 2 etc. But then I'm used to gaming on a big screen.LOL. That looks like a smaller Switch.
Man, that's a small screen.
I legit don't understand the need for a smaller Switch. If the current one is too big, what is the optimal size? It's not going to be "smartphone-small", so why would Nintendo do it and introduce compatibility issues with games that use joycons in the process?
The Switch's dpad buttons that it has at the moment is a thousand times better than that horrible thing- at least you'd be able to press them properly!I disagree. Just not seeing the concern here. One is a launch game, one is a cardboard addon product. If you absolutely have to play those and you also have to have a Mini, you can probably just buy two additional joycons to play those specific games.

They aren't big issues compared to the size of the kids market and so on. Dimensions don't need to be as small as a smartphone to be better for kids. Not to mention make it simpler and cheaper to produce, which is also mainly aimed at kids.I legit don't understand the need for a smaller Switch. We haven't seen this specific mock up before, but I hope it's fake. Why is the d pad so shallow? The sticks look terrible as well. The joy con look ridiculously wide too. What a disappointment this would be. It doesn't even look very "mini"
Not really a concern. Just the essence of the Switch is Anywhere, Anyone, Anytime. I expect a of asterixis (*does not support Switch Lite).Just not seeing the concern here. They are aiming at a price sensitive audience, they won't buy the Joy-Cons.Thats exactly how the mini will be handled
Any Joycon required game.... buy the joy cons
Right, that's the new one. That didn't exist on a google reverse image search before yesterday.
However this is almost certainly a fan mockup since the screen overlay is absolutely horrendous. I suppose it's always possible that it's a real image of a new Switch but they edited the screen overlay for whatever reason and did a terrible job on it.

You checked too long ago. It works like that.If the Switch Mini worked like iOS and I could just redownload my digital games so I can play them with my wife, I'd totally get a Switch Mini. But Nintendo doesn't work like that, last time I checked.
As for the price, if it's anything above $200, someone messed up.
