It's been eight months since the release of the Switch. Upon announcement we were presented with a large list of publishers and developers "partnering" with Nintendo. Let's look at announced/released games from these partners.

Looking forward to seeing what Platinum and From Software have in store. I (like many) wouldn't mind a Souls Trilogy ported over.

Seems like you missed GungHo Online Entertainment in your "Publishers/Devs yet to release/announce a game" list. Because they made Puzzle & Dragons, I am kind of expecting them to release a version of that game as their first release. As for me, I am hoping for a follow up of their Super Mario Bros. version with more Mario stuff involved, like Daisy, Wario, Waluigi and the various enemies found but not used in that game.

They have yet to officially announce anything so far. They have only announced there next title is an action title they've been working on for four or five years.

It's just what a lot of people want because they have no clue how important item progression and integration into the leveldesign is. Basically a lot of people who want FROM to make pretty much everything, and everything includes Prime 4. There is no rumour.

If we can believe all the analysts in the past week or two, most of those partners were still in wait and see and will probably get shit in gear next year.

Platinum is really the only partner with nothing announced that I fully believe is working hard on Switch games.

That's what I meant, with most of them still "Wait and See" it was a bit misleading for Nintendo to call them partners. That being said, I think this group of partners has done more than the Wii U set of partners did in eight months

It's especially funny seeing how much of a presence EA had at the Switch reveal, only for them to recently state that they still aren't aboard the Switch train just yet.

I don't think Nintendo just slapped that list together for without basis though. They do have something in work, just nothing yet announced.

God I still remember being excited seeing that list of partners on the WiiU and then.. nothing.. When I saw (almost) the same exact looking list I rolled my eyes. Glad it's panning out well.

Why should they? They're a business. They're concerned about their own profits not helping Nintendo. If there ports aren't selling on Nintendo consoles then why should they chase after it? I don't expect any third party to "support" any console manufacturer, I expect them to do what makes business sense for them.

They don't have to support Nintendo, but they lie to consumers about their support for Nintendo is my point.

It would help if they actually put in the effort instead of releasing shitty ports and then complaining that they dont sell. Remember Mass Effect 3 on Wii U? Full priced game when the Trilogy was just releasing on other platforms at half the price.
