So who knows how many Pokemon will be left out of this. These games are becoming more and more of a joke. Stop wasting your time and development resources on stupid giant Pokemon then.
It sounds like it's a case of not having the assets, on which case postage wouldn't make a difference. Sounds like the best hope is for updates over time.
Of course, it's somewhat dependent on just how reduced they're talking about!
This isn't a huge deal to me but WOW. I am sorry guys. They made it sound like going forward that is how they want it to happen. You have your Dex in Home and some come over into each new game. So they don't have to worry about them all?

Yeah, that's what it sounded like to me. "A new direction", I believe he said. Very disappointing.
Unless they re-did the assets again, they have HD-scalable assets from Sun and Moon to use, here.
Which, they likely added on bells and whistles to the models, but I can't fathom the reason otherwise.
Anyways, I also would like to see a schedule and get some more FE info.
