Generally it looks like the framerate dips the most when the player is collecting a lot of coins and stuff. How... odd.

Can a new Mario or Banjo caliber platformer ever emerge again? I dont think people will beg for Knack or Lucky in Smash in 20 years.
From the indie world, there are a handful that are well known. From a big publisher side, that is a different story.

It was such a bad timing to release the original just two weeks after Super Mario Odyssey.
I feel a bit of resentment from the devs on the launch of the original release, they said they are happy to release the game on a platform where audience respect this genre, but they also said reviews pushed them to polish the experience.
Astrobot is really really good. But I also don't think Astrobot as a character is very memorable.

Shantae is in Smash as a spirit and Shovel Knight even as an assist trophy. That's already big.
Yeah I kinda have to agree. It was very much on my radar before E3 but this showing has skyrocketed it to my most anticipated game of the year (tied with DQXIS anyway).
Man, I would totally go for Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games if they added baseball/softball like the Olympics just did. But it seems only the other 4 newcomers got in (Surfing, skating, rock climbing and karate).
Still sucks that 2016 at Rio was stuck to the Wii U. I would love to play some M&S on the Switch with my home country as a background.

If someone told me 10 years ago that I might be seriously considering buying a Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games...
