Best Gamecube controller imo was when Nintendo released a white one for Brawl to match Wii's color, without Smash branding, with a white cord that was extra long.

It was a happy accident, because it is still a sub-par experience without rumble. We need a rumble updated before December that works with all games, not just smash, for me to even be slightly happy.
That's cool, I've never tried them but I've read they can differ a bit from the original GCN controllers! This one was still pure GCN, love the color too.
I would just take the pre-order. The December 28 release is likely a placeholder. Even then, better to have one late than not at all, right?
It's the EXACT same adapter as the Wii U.
The minute differences were actually present in the white Japan controller release as well. The Smash branded ones are identical to those in all but logo (there was a white version of those too but I believe they were Japan exclusive, just like the ones released in the Brawl era).
And it's ten fucking dollars more expensive than it used to be.

I don't think it would stick unless they decided to make more games compatible with the GC controller but damn that's still a nice idea.
I have a Wavebird and as awesome they are, it does have some minor input lag. I tend to prefer using the normal wired controllers games like Smash.That's the thing you'd want to get. Although it could have latency, dunno:
