A Texas supply teacher who filmed porn in her classroom won't be charged with a crime.

Teaching temptress Elizabeth Ann Schneider has already been fired from her job in El Campo.

Cops say that instead of supervising recess, Schneider was filming porn in a vacant class during the middle of the school day.

"We can't find a law that she violated," El Campo Police Chief Terry Stanphill told KPRC.

I mean, unfortunately, if they didn't find a law that she broke, then she shouldn't be charged. Granted, hopefully this leads to a law against this being written.

I am in no way condoning what this woman did, but without a law saying what she did was illegal, she can't be charged with anything

The George Costanza defense:

"Was that wrong? Should I have not done that? I tell you, I gotta plead ignorance on this thing because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing was frowned upon, you know, cause I've worked in a lot of offices and I tell you people do that all the time."

Hmm, I was thinking it would have been after hours but it wasn't? Hmm hmm hmm indeed. Guess it depends on how and who found her, like is it exposure if a security guard views her live on CCTV and is it not if he only catches the act afterwards? But yeah I don't know officially what laws she would have broken if nobody saw her at the time so this fits. Makes sense she lost her job though.

I love how the article lists A. The full name of the video uploaded, B. The site she uploaded it to, and C. In case you can't find it via the name, her username on the site.

This thing about to rocket to the top of the Most Viewed list.

I'm a little surprised by the reactions. If no law is broken you can't charge someone. Since no kids were involved and she's been fired I find the situation humorous. Seems like she shouldn't have even been arrested technically.

Seems like one of those "masturbate in a public place" videos where she got caught. Usually they are either staged or in cars, but an actual classroom in an Elementary School is both stupid and disgusting.

Welp, if her vid is posted on the usual sites her view count just shot up. Otherwise this is just spectacularly bad judgement for a teacher. I'm no prude but shooting during school hours?

It sucks that some poor billion dollar private prison corporation will have to make do with one less prisoner. They need every cent.

No one caught her in the school. It was an online viewer who recognized the location.

This is one of those "if a tree falls in the woods and nobody is around does it make a sound" things to me.

Nobody saw her get indecent. No harm, no foul. Fire her and move on. No need for institutionalization

1. Why is the article calling the sex offender a "teaching temptress" (among other things)?

2. Why are people in this thread making wink-nudge sex jokes about said offender? Would you be saying this if there were children present in this public space?

Is a school not public property!?

Is pornography not art!?

Is she a sex offender? The police explicitly say they can't find a crime she committed. Was she having sex with minors in the video, forcing people to watch or anything, exposing herself to victims, etc? Now, obviously, having sex on school property is... probably against some public school handbook and not behavior befitting a teacher, but I don't know if it makes someone a sex offender.

Just imagine if the story was about a dude masturbating in the same class room and posting the videos on whatever

Not one to make a joke but that completely changes the context of the offense here.
