The statement seems to imply that Impact first learned about the match when it was announced to the public. I'm flabbergasted by that if true. Gabe didn't think to run the match idea by Impact before announcing it? That's the first thing I would do if I were him.

To be fair that could be exactly the problem. He might've taken it like the pinfall was the problem but it's like no you're sending them to lose in their first match just to make your NXT B-team look good
There is a decent Chrome extension that helps make it more user friendly, can't recall the name sorry
