4-6 month is arguably very short for theìr prized Gaijins and champ.. some multi year plan goes straight into bin.

They fulfilled their contract and didn't renew. If NJPW wants to book 18 months or whatever in advance they can provide contracts covering that time and have a plan in place if people decide not to renew, rather than just assuming they will. Shit isn't hard.
As for the Kenny not being allowed in the country thing it is probably just visa issues, or assumed visa issues I would think.
