He says the exact opposite in his Netflix standup, actually. The story goes, as he says: his wife says she read in the news that he's a Trump supporter, he laughs it off because "nobody would believe that", and he tells a story about voting in Ohio (I think) with a bunch of Trump supporters. He voted for Hillary. He thinks the Trump supporters are stupid, but not evil. His take on Trump is not front and center, but he's clearly not a supporter. Actually he seems quite unconcerned, which is naive. But he's not a supporter.

It doesn't matter to them. They never cared about vacation time, or golf, or flip flopping, or emails, or Benghazi, or whatever maypole of controversy they dance around. The hate's the point, the anger - everything else is just details.

Yep. Their only goal is to say whatever is necessary to get their base riled up and filled with hatred. Then, when they are blind with rage, they'll vote for whoever Fox props up as the next golden boy.
