The somewhat retro look might've been the reason. For me, it varies. I like it when a retro look is mixed in with a lot of the improvements of newer devices

Honestly, something like that could've been a collector's item. I wonder if we'll get any late gen limited edition releases for the PS4/XB1

There was also the oxide edition for 60.

In the same respect, it's been noted a strong amount of Super Mario Maker 2 sales were the online sub bundle.

Also wonder where Days Gone numbers are currently. It had an amazing performance on Europe on top of its great results on US. It sold well even in Japan ffs lol

Spidey hit almost 10 mill in TWO months. 20M should be light work. Even Uncharted 4 is almost at 20M.

IIRC SMM2 had a $70 SKU which included a year of Nintendo Switch Online, so that makes that comparison a bit trickier.

Yep, it's impressive. Gonna be interesting to watch if Bend keeps the Unreal Engine 4, or switches to Decima. Chances are high that it will be UE4 again. But still.... ;) Decima would be nice!

Sony nowhere close to Nintendo level you comparing a 20 dollar game vs Nintendo never drop price 60 dollar games plus NPD don't even get Nintendo digital numbers we do not know how much higher their numbers can go for example Zelda at 13 we do not know if with digital it could be 10 or higher, either way Sony don't have as much 15 million sold for one game and don't even have same amount as 10 million sold games as nintendo

nintendo in a whole other universe only 3rd party when you add sales from Sony and Microsoft system together can reach

just put it this way if those Sony games didn't come free with some system bundles or sold for 20 would it still sell similar

As much as Decima would be new they deff could lean on GG studio for aid when developing games for it

Zelda is going to outsell Mario Odyssey LTD numbers one day. Genuinely can't believe that. I'm happy for Aonuma, Fujibayashi & co.

Yep. I mean Until Dawn looked really good in 2015. Still looks good. And it got made by a mid-sized team at Supermassive. Decima for DG2 would be great :)

The core code in Decima has been in use since the PS3 days - GG have been iterating on it for a long, long time.
