Still sad I missed out on the specific hardware numbers yesterday.

I believe it was stated that the Switch had the best Q1 of any console of this generation?

Move over Mario.

4 Nintendo titles in the top 20 feature Yoshi.

Yoshi is the true face of Nintendo.

All those new switch users buying Smash, BOTW....and MK8 DX/NSMBU DX.

I've said it before, but those Wii U ports were a fantastic idea. It's practically a new audience.

MLB 18 was the highest in franchise history last year, another growth for the franchise this year... incredible !

With the exception of November, 2018, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has charted in the NPD Top 20 for two straight years.

The Division 2 numbers doesn't include PC, so I'm guessing it would have knocked KH3 off the top as best selling of the year if it had them included.

"MARCH RELEASE NOTE - Nintendo eShop Digital Full Game sales data for participating publishers is now included."

I assume Nintendo is one of those participating publishers?

Division 2 is the real deal, good to see it earning what it deserves. Probably GOTY. An absolute tour-de-force on every level, and didn't ship broken, either.

Smash outselling Yoshi is surprising. Maybe a lot of people bought Smash Ultimate alongside a Switch during the Mar10 promotion.

Edit: Nvm not really, Yoshi launched at the end of the month

It's good to see that The Division 2 got a warm reception when it came out. Have been having lots of fun with it and hope for it to keep going.

Damn at Smash being 5th place...

In fairness, DMC and Sekiro are pretty good titles (alongside with the aforementioned Division 2). Not sure how The Show is up there, but since I usually skip the sports titles, I'm sure I'm missing a few details.

Smash at 7th place YTD is pretty good, game should have steady sales for a couple years, especially if they nail the Season Pass choices.
