Glad to see AC near the top as its very good from what I've played so far

This is kind of why monthly tracking is flawed. Someone needs to track weekly in the US.
Forza 7 (Oct 3rd) had 2 extra weeks of sales on GT Sport (Oct 17th)

No digital for TEW2 and Wolf 2 make it impossible to know how badly they did.
Call of Duty and Battlefront II are the 2 big releases this month and they are multiplatform...

Not really, personally i had no interest in DS style Mario games. Full on 3D Mario game is what people have been wanting for a long time.

Odyssey is no 1 if you exclude digital sales from every game.
I don't see either of those topping the Battlefront 2 and CoD goliaths.
Odyssey will well more in December than it did on October though.

That Bethesda underperformed is expected, but that Wolfenstein underperformed the most out of their two releases is super depressing. Not intended as a slight against Evil Within, but man, Wolfenstein.
I mean, it's not impossible... can make some reasonable estimates.

Shadow of War had a whole month of sales whereas Assassin's Creed just had 1 weekend.
Evil Within was out a couple of weeks before Wolf though, maybe that explains it.
i think many here missed the part where gran turismo normally sells alot more in eu territory over us, been a trend with that franchise

Honestly, I assumed the license was building fatigue by now, especially following the Hobbit films.
If you adjust for days in market, some having digital and the other one not... any of the three games could be #1 depending on the assumptions.

No. That's not correct.
Mario physical sales (excluding bundles) are higher than every other games physical sales (excluding bundles).
Nintendo is comparing packaged sales to packaged sales.
NPD's chart includes digital sales. But digital sales are not tracked for Nintendo titles.
It does, but it also generally beats Forza everywhere IIRC.
The whopping 120k digital PC sales Wolf got globally over the first couple of days on sale would surely catapult it to at least 12th and 13th place for the month!
I mean I'd like to believe digital saved them but the realist in me says no. Digital at best is usually 40% nowadays, probably closer to 30 for these games. 30-40% of a low physical number isn't anything to write home about :\
Ignore is definitely not the right word, pubs are making bank on it.
It's been far from a juggernaut in the U.K. at least. Very disappointing sales from what people were expecting throughout 2017.
