The NYPD is seeking assistance in finding a man who threw urine on a No. 6 train conductor and on a Bx1 bus driver.

NYC-ERA: Since when did train conductors in NYC start wearing goggles???: https://www.masstransitmag.com/safety-security/news/21076349/nypd-seeks-help-finding-peepetrator-who-threw-urine-on-mta-workers

Police have released images of a man suspected of throwing urine on two MTA employees, hoping the public can help find him.

The pee-petrator splattered a 43-year-old female train conductor on an uptown No. 6 train at the Brook Ave.-E. 138th St. station about 10:30 a.m. on Friday.

Roughly 45 minutes later, he struck again, dumping urine on MTA bus driver Trellis Robinson as she sat behind the wheel of a Bx1 bus at the Grand Concourse and 138th St., about 15 blocks from where the conductor was doused with it.

Robinson had her driver's side window down when the suspect threw the urine into her face and on her clothes. Medics took her to Lincoln Hospital for treatment.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s, 5-feet-7 and about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a burgundy hooded sweatshirt, dark jacket, beige pants and red-and-black sneakers.

The back-to-back attacks caused Transport Workers Union Local 100 officials to instruct subway and bus employees to be wary of their surroundings.

"Bus operators should keep their windows closed and train conductors should make sure they are wearing their goggles and immediately shut their windows if someone approaches on a platform," Local 100 President Tony Utano advised.

That's pretty insane, though not surprising. I've seen people literally shit in subway cars periodically.

They're seriously recommending wearing goggles?
It sounds like NYC train conductors are already given goggles to wear:
