I thought this was an interesting little snippet that popped up on the BBC. Similar to the co-pilot idea but taken to the extreme.

It's an 8 person nintendo controller where each person has one button that does one thing. The video shows people collaborating to play tetris, by choosing where to put the piece. They've also tried out super mario and zelda.

It originated as a thought experiment about accessible gaming, but has morphed into more of an experiment about collaboration and communication.

It's like a couch version of "twitch plays..."

hmmm more from Gamasutra

It's "old" news but I searched and didn't find anything - over-ride me by committee if old

PSA for folks who enter the thread like I did: The title does *NOT* say Octodad.

This seems really cool! I love NES hardware hacks, the reminds me in equal measure of the several people playing Guitar Hero with one guitar, and the large NES coffee table :)

I'd take lives for a giant SNES controller like that, though I suppose it could never work due to the shoulder buttons :/

I wonder if that giant NES table would work with the NES mini at all?
